Great little café has everything. Everyone is friendly there and the food is great. I had the veggie skillet and it was more than enough. See you soon!!!

**Terrible Experience at Bialy’s Café – Disrespectful to Seniors**

I recently had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at Bialy’s Café on 95th and California. After the incident, I looked up reviews and found that many others have had similar issues. It’s clear this restaurant has a troubling pattern of unprofessional behavior and mistreatment of customers.

I brought my elderly mother there after a doctor’s appointment. As a senior myself, I was shocked by how we were treated. When I went to pay, I noticed I’d been charged for lemon slices in my water—something most restaurants offer for free. I politely suggested they notify customers of the charge. The waitress snapped that it was on the menu. When I clarified I was simply offering feedback, she called me “rude” to my face.

Things quickly escalated. A verbal argument broke out between me, the waitress, and the cashier. At one point, the cashier threw my receipt onto my purse—completely uncalled for. When I said I wouldn’t be returning, one of them said, “We don’t need you here anyway.”

They then began laughing, speaking in Spanish, and mocking me openly. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and was told he “doesn’t speak English.” I was stunned.

This wasn’t just bad service—it was blatant hostility, especially toward seniors. Bialy’s falsely markets itself as “family friendly,” but based on my experience and many reviews, it’s anything but.

I wish I could rate this restaurant with no stars, that’s just how bad our experience was.

I’m seriously considering filing a complaint for false advertising, and I encourage others to think twice before dining here. Bialy’s Café is not welcoming, not professional, and not trustworthy. I do **not** recommend it. Who owns Bialy’s Cafe?

The food is great, been coming here for over 12 years but lately the customer service has gone downhill, specially with the younger waitresses, no signage, nothing posted on their menu either, you now get charged an automatic gratuity charge when your total is above a certain dollar amount, since tip is already being charged they deliver horrible service, which is very unfortunate since this was our go to breakfast place because of the service, food and reasonable prices, but not anymore. Train your employees better and be transparent about charges for extra items, gratuity, etc.

Called for a to go order. $26 for 1 breakfast burrito is crippling. Always call ahead and ask what the total will be see you aren’t in for any surprises!

Went in for Breakfast got my omelet half way thu I found a hair under my omelet. Not to cause a problem I call the server over and told her. She offered to have it made again but I did want that. I go to pay for my food the Manger charge me full price. I ask that I at least get 50% off she refused and said the hair was more than likely mine after going back for a few minutes she took off $1. The Manger was very rude and disrespectful. I was more unsettling about the managers attitude and dismissive behavior than anything.

My husband and I found this diner like place by accident and decided to try it. Parking is in the back, small and busy but adequate. The restaurant itself is small but menu has an extensive choices. We opted for a no. 2 combo breakfast, 2 eggs, choice of bacon or sausage or ham, with hasbrown or Bialy's potato with onion and green pepper (extra $1 which my waitress didn't mention but I saw it in my bill), with pancake or buttered toast. Forvextra $5 something, you can choose French toast which was delicious and I am very picky with French toast and coffee. They're coffee was ok but would've be better with flavored cream which owner should think about. Also. Overall bill was not bad but FYI there is a fee if you use credit card so bring cash. Overall, I can recommend this place.

Today, after coming to this establish for the past 4 years, I ordered a steak burrito like I always do customized with jalapeño, onion, and peppers with rice on the side. I am not sure how the waitress rang it up but the total with tip included was $45?! Again, I have came here consistently and this is exactly the same order I get each time. They charged each item individually totaling $20 in additional customizations. In speaking with other customers at the restaurant as I was leaving, they even said they did increase their prices. I am so disappointed because the food and salsa is so good but they really need to train their staff on how to input orders consistently and correctly.

I had a terrible experience here because of the manager. They were rude and unprofessional, and didn’t seem to care about are concerns at all. It really ruined the whole visit. We won’t be coming back.
