This man is absolutely insane and should not be able to work in a coffee shop. My first experience at a BIGGBY in Chicago was ruined by his nasty attitude towards me. Literally screaming at me to go sit down like an animal. Who raised this man ?I placed two orders online & he completely forgot to make one. I arrived to the store 15 minutes after I placed my order because I was on my way to work & he tried to tell me he never got both orders. After showing him my online confirmation he got angry & said he needed to make it. I stated that I did not have time to wait for him to make my order I was going to be late for work now. He began screaming at me telling me not to speak to him & for 10 minutes he refused to make my coffee or give me a refund. He was screaming at me to leave. He refused to give me his name & the other worker refused to tell me his name as well. After stating that I would call the police since he was not giving me a refund , he was screaming at me to go sit down in the corner while he made my coffee. I have never been spoken to like that in my life. There was a mom with her son in the store, her child was absolutely scared & ran from his seat when this man started acting crazy. . I was late to work because I was forced to wait for an order I did not want anymore. I was refused a refund and BIGGBY customer service never responded to any of my attends to make a complaint. My latte was absolutely disgusting.Such a nasty experience. Will neverrrr support this business.Kid-friendliness: This man absolutely scared a child that was enjoying some coffee time with his mom. When the employee began screaming the little boy got up & ran over to his mom.

Iced lattes are absolutely delicious and service is personable and detailed. I’d rather drive an extra 10 minutes for this coffee rather than stopping at a chain like Starbucks or Dunkin’. The breakfast sandwich bagels are fresh and flavorful.

The coffee wasn't bad, but there was nothing comforting about the location. The menu had so many options and I believe would have been better if simplified. I sat inside but the ambiance did not read stay for awhile or sit here. It was more like an order and leave spot. The customer service was great, but if I am going to a coffee house where I have to get out of my car to order I want a comfortable inside area that may accommodate business or pleasure.
