Breakfast sandwiches were OK but $50 for two of them is crazy
Food was bland. I asked for a hot chocolate and did not receive it. Was super pressured into tipping and then shamed for it. Will not come back.

The owner is rude, brass and unwelcoming.. His words as I stood at the register to pay tab, when my tap did not work, "I don't have time for you, I have lots of people waiting...'.
I am a little concerned because I have lived in this neighborhood for over 30 years and frequent this restaurant often with Mt entire family and friends. The reason I say all that is because when he made that statement no one was in the restaurant but a few, and no one was standing behind me waiting to pay. I gave him my only cash and felt bad for my server. You never know what people are going through sir, your restaurant was a gem, a place to come and enjoy a good meal and fellowship. Based on what I experienced recently, that's all gone. My prayers for the staff, because he also treats them like trash. OK so to e d this, I was so hurt and angry by his disposition I gave him my only cash and left abruptly! I sat in my car for a out 5 minutes praying and hunting for money , a tip for my server. She is so sweet, and attentive. She been there for years!! I found enough to adequately bless her, I calmed down and went back into restaurant asked for my server and gave her the tip. She tried to make me feel better about the incident. I thanked her and said he will hear from me later. I'm not sure what happened to the owner over the years, but the other comments I read tells me that somewhere in life something did... I feel sorry for the staff, and his die hard patrons, because if he continues like this, all of you will soon be looking for employment. Be kind to everyone it really makes a difference!!!

My husband and I frequently eat breakfast at this place and have not encountered a problem until this morning. Upon preparing to pay our bill, I noticed an additional charge for something we had not ordered. Our waitress removed the charge and apologize for the mistake. When we went to the counter to check out, the manager asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I first said no, not this time. At this point the manager began to tell me that I should leave a tip and how much to leave. We usually tip every time we eat out, but this morning we did not. We paid our bill and left feeling that the manager's attitude was uncalled for.

I ordered a pecan waffle and I was served a bacon waffle. I told the waitress it didn’t look like a pecan waffle and she said it was. As I bit into a few pieces of waffle it was BACON. I DON’T eat pork. When I went to give the owner some kind feedback he got loud and said “what do you want from me, the keys to the restaurant”? He then threw the keys in my direction. My intent was to provide feedback from a customer. He said he needed waitresses or he would have to close. What???? I don’t want any fired. I was giving feedback in a professional tone. I was in total disbelief.

Nice hidden gem! Food and service is great! I took my brother to eat there and cleaned his plate! He was pleasantly surprised!
Parking: Has its own parking lot with plenty of spaces, but I think you also park on Utica street diagonally.
Wheelchair accessibility: My dad uses a stroller, and it is easy for him to get around between tables.

Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Not cheap, but a great price for the amount of food you get. I took the rest of my breakfast home and it served for 2 more breakfasts!

Amazing food! Great service. Not spotless, so I took off a star. Bacon waffles are fabulous!
