Hello,I ordered a steak meal. The food was very tasty. However, I saw a piece of hair in my food. The waiter said she didn’t see it but would get the owner. The owner was an old guy and he saw the hair but mixed it in the A1 sauce and then said I’ll just replace the eggs. He said I’m not trying to pay, I didn’t understand him so I sat there and took a picture of the hair. The waiter said he wouldn’t replace the steak. I felt like he was trying to belittle me but I’ll never disrespect an elderly person. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I didn’t have the money. I’m a teacher my son was sick today so I took him to Little Company of Mary then out to eat before we went home. I showed another lady and she did pay the bill and the other table a man was saying I handled that very good and was surprised I didn’t go off for what the man had said to me. The world we live in! ? I’ve been here plenty of times but now I will never return here.

Order corned beef hash and got the corned beef hash from the can. I really thought because they have corned beef sandwiches that they would have made fresh, I guess not. Probably won’t go there again.

Would have been ZERO STARS if there was such a category. I really have to say, I'm quite disappointed in this place. Normally my food is great. Yesterday's experience has left me deciding to never go here again. I placed an order, something was sour, it spoiled my whole appetite $30 paid with a tip and left the entire breakfast there. The owner who's normally up front greeting everyone was no where to be found. Well they've lost my business, never again. just called tried to speak to the owner, he told me not to call bothering him and hung up on me. Wow go figure the same guy who's told my husband & I all his issues and problems with his family, smh.

I have never been to this restaurant and was in the city visiting and found this hidden but right out front gem.. I actually know one the owners and was so super happy to see her after over at least 10 years. It's on 95th street east of Kedzie in Evergreen Park. There is free parking in the lot and in front. The food was good.. I didn't really care for the taste of the syrup but my date said it was good to him. I had pancakes, eggs over medium and grits. He had a strawberry waffle which was really good, grits and eggs fried hard. He said that coffee was really good and fresh, didn't have the burnt taste. He had about 6 small cups with Irish Crème Creamer. I did taste it and it was actually good.. The Irish Crème creamer was like toffee to me. Our waitress was funny and very hospitable. They had a lot of customers sitting in and taking out. Also I could tell they have regulars. They had a group in the back celebrating a birthday. It's not modern but they provided cleanliness, even in the restroom, quality food and excellent service!! ENJOY!
I had a awesome time with my friends and family as we celebrated my 66th birthday!!! Good food, great service and wonderful fellowship and no dishes to wash!!!!
