Harold's Chicken Shack

Let me just start by saying that I'm not sure how this place is still open for business. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. The food was not fresh, my chicken wings were old and the fries were cold. I will never eat here again.

This is by far the worst Harold's I have ever been to. I went in to place my order at 8:30 p.m.,now I have to remind you that they close at 9:00 p.m. Before I could say anything, the young lady behind the counter told me that they ran out of chicken, not even knowing if that’s what I wanted to order. She was pretty much telling me that they were no longer taking orders even though they were open until 9:00 p.m. Very unprofessional I won't be returning back to this Harolds.

Since the Harold’s off of 87th and the Ryan closed I have to give this location as the best spot. Only problem is THEY ARENT taking CASH😬 So you’ll need to Cash app, Apple Pay or use debit.

The wait for a 8 piece chicken bucket and fries was 1 whole hour yeah i dont know about going there anymore.

55 minutes for chicken is ridiculous. Will not patronize this location again.

I ordered six wings Harold’s chicken from GrubHub. The food was undercooked extremely nasty drench with barbecue sauceUnbelievable. Somebody need to call the Board of Health on this place., Do not eat at this restaurant under no circumstances, you will get sick, Nasty ? ?????

I arrived at the restaurant around 3 pm. I was excited to see there were no other customers inside the restaurant. I was politely greeted by the Harold's employee who very patiently answered my questions. After placing my order I stepped aside and prepared myself for a long wait. After a couple of hands of Gin Rummy on my phone, my name was called and my order was ready. It was correct, hot and delicious.

They have great food but the service is not the best. First, was their phone was not working to place an order, then when you get there they don’t accept the card, only zelle , Apple Pay and cash app..

This Harold s has a weekend rib tip dinner that was excellent. It even heats up well.

Chicken with the mild sauce, served with fries and cole slaw *chef's kiss*. We waited about 15 minutes but you could tell it was cooked right when we ordered it. I almost couldn't wait till we got home to dig in. We ordered one half chicken mixed, and the cashier was sweet enough to give an extra cole slaw since there was two of us. We were greeted with a smile and notified when there was about 5 minutes left. It was cooked to perfection when we finally got home. Excellent food and service.

I’m leaving a review just to share they will NOT make your order until you arrive if you call for pickup. They will tell you 20 mins over the phone but when you arrive you will have to wait like a walk in. It’s not a time saver. Unless you’re ordering 100 wings it’s pointless to call ahead.

I drove from chicago ridge to get Harold’s only to arrive back home with wings with no sauce. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. Won’t be going back. The lack of attention to detail is very disappointing.

This place is so unorganized. Twice now, I've placed an order and it's Never ready when they say it will be. The last time, I waited 40 minutes after paying & I called in the order. This time, again I called in a order and they don't have it. Yesterday my son ordered and when he got there, they said they were only taking cash. It was have been helpful if ya said that then the order was placed.
Update: IT TOOK AN HOUR FOR 4 WINGS. THAT'LL BE THE LAST TIME I PATRONIZE THIS PLACE
