Fake japanese restaurant. They are showing videos of restaurants in Japan and it looks like about their kitchen. I think they are trying to make up as authentic Japanese restaurant, but actually it is managed by Chinese owner.

The food here is delicious. Top notch! Though I have a few issues, nothing too serious.
The seasoned eggs aren't runny. I wish the beef in the ramen was like how it first was.... Nice and shredded. And last but not least, BRING BACK THE JAPANESE AND ANIME MUSIC!!!! Please! This American music isn't it. Doesn't fit the atmosphere whatsoever.

I remember when this place first opened and it was amazing and now it has gone downhill. You will need to read the first page of the menu if you’re dining in and look all the way at the top to where it says “They charge mandatory gratuity.” That is THE ONLY place you will see it. Then when you pay your bill and the tip they set for you. They ask AGAIN if you want to tip. They also have increased their prices, yet they took away the large soup spoons for the Ramen and replaced them with medium sized spoons. They now use that same medium sized spoon for their rice dish. So a very large mouth is required to enjoy a spoonful of rice. However I do agree with taking away the plastic chopsticks they had before since people would steal them, mainly because it is more sanitary. They did not fully wash them anyway?Their service is ok but it’s truly not worth eatting inside. On top of the fact they have gnats flying around your table. I legit had to cover my food with napkins. I’d have to say this place is good for take out only, unless you are trying to spend 40-80$ for 1-2 people and constantly cover your food from the gnats.

Rarely do I write reviews for a restaurant, but I just wanna say Im very disappointed with the customer service aspect and food at this restaurant. I think this might have been an off day, but I’ve visited this location a few times and it seems like these issues have been consistent.
I visited this location a few days ago while I was out running errands. I wanted to stop in for lunch that day. The first thing I need to point out is how weird the start of the service was. It seemed like something was off in the restaurant, but I wasn’t sure what. It just seemed like the server was uncomfortable. When we started the order, it felt like I was almost being rushed, and i was kinda tempted to just switch to togo or leave because everything just seemed cold. Luckily I just ordered 3 items so it wasn’t for a bust. I believe it was the Kara-Age, the Spicy Miso Ramen, and just a coke. Ive ordered their tea before, but last time i got the tea it was literally filled with mainly ice and fruit. When I mentioned that to one of the ladies at the restaurant, they just simply said that is how the drink is served. I wasn't gonna pay almost 7 dollars for ice, and even then i spent 4.50 for a can of soda.
However after ordering the main dishes, I was just disappointed. The ramen was bland (sorry, it seriously lacked flavor and spice). The meat in the ramen was both suspiciously chewy, bland, and almost cold which makes me think they pre-cook the meat (again, from previous experiences i get that its always precooked but the meat shouldn’t be cold). It also just lacked a lot. I know you can add toppings, but 16 dollars for a bowl of mostly broth is sad. The Kara-Age was also just bland. It tasted just like fry oil, and it definitely did not match its picture or description. The coke was fine, they served it with a nice glass, so thats nice.
(Also quick note, it was at this point I noticed how they cleaned the tables. They use ran down dirty rags with just water to clean the tables. Not gonna lie, that was very disgusting. You can see what was oil or chili stuff on the rag. No cleaning spray, and the plates were placed without a care in the world. My plate also had literal water marks on it.)
What made this worse honestly was the attitude of both the server and the other worker who I noticed across the room. The sever, although somewhat kind and helpful, quite literally couldn't help with these dishes. I couldn’t get any exchanges on anything, and when I presented these problems it felt like they had excuses or they tried recommended other dishes that i wasn't gonna pay for. It was at this point I noticed this male employee who seriously looked mad. I didn't think it was directed at the guest, but once the server left, I noticed he was visibly upset. Either way, the service was bad, the food was underwhelming, and i truly question if they care about the well being of the customers.
This place looks nice, and I know they have good days, but after being treated THIS weird, I will no longer be getting food here. Not to mention how unapproachable and unwelcoming the restaurant was. I get the customer isn't always right, but when your methods are questionable you better be ready to help your customers. I hope they truly fix some of these issues.

Not one to write reviews often but I was turned off from this place by a couple of things. The service was pretty ok overall and the food was decent. I had short ribs as an appetizer. The meat was tough and it tasted like it was pre-cooked and microwaved. After that, I ordered the miso ramen soup. It was just OK. I'm new to the ramen scene but out of the few ramen restaurants I've tried, this was my first disappointment. The base was OK but the pork included was flavorless. Regardless, it was all tolerable until the check came. The tip was already included on the original check. After they swiped my card and bought the final receipt, I see they asked for additional tips while changing the language from the original receipt from "tips" to "gratuity". One thing I absolutely hate is when restaurants engage in predatory tipping. I likely won't visit there again because of that. I just want to make people aware of the process before they dine in here.

The restaurant was clean. The water they brought out was warm. My spicy ramen wasn't spicy and the pork didn't have any flavor to it. Even the broth felt off. I don't remember it being this 'meh' the last time I was there. The food wasn't terrible, but considering how much our bill was, you would think we would get better quality food. Also pay attention to the bill as they auto add gratuity and then when they bring you the final bill it asks for another tip amount when you sign the credit card slip. It can easily be missed.

The place was impeccably clean, the decor was on point, the food was freshly made (I recommend the takoyaki and spicy beef ramen). The servers made sure to take care of us. Service was prompt and everyone was warm, friendly, knowledgeable. The highlight of our experience was when our two boys were getting frustrated from their amateur chopsticks skills, and the young woman in the staff came out with these chopsticks contraptions she made with rubber bands to help them out. Our kids ate well and felt seen and treated like VIPs. The menu prices are reasonable and there was zero problems with parking. We are so happy this restaurant is in our neighborhood! We'll be back. Also they have a loyalty card promo going on. Thank you for the excellent lunch experience!

Good flavor and service. Kelab was so nice and friendly.
I went by myself, with my family and then my husband and I and each time the food has been great!!! So very happy we have a new favorite on the southwest side so we don’t always have to go to Chinatown! The fried pork bun, spicy pork ramen, fried chicken, and passion fruit lemon tea with tapioca are what I’ve tried so far!
