Went here with a friend and everything was delicious! We enjoyed all the food we tried. The appetizers are reasonably priced, not overpriced like other places. The strawberry mixed sake was so refreshing, the ramen is delicious and the takoyaki was really good. Overall, everything here was really good and worth coming back for.

I mistakenly ordered from this location, instead of my home town one. The manager on duty, India, was so incredibly patient and kind in helping me resolve the issue. She was able to cancel my order and we will wait for the money to be refunded to my card. It is my promise to her that I will call the Evergreen Park location to let them know when the money does in fact get back on my credit card. Clearly my phone had thought I was near their location rather than my home store, which is over an hour away… my bad. Just a lesson for to learn to check the phone closely when ordering online. Thank you India! Your kindness, patience and professionalism is greatly appreciated! ❤️❤️

GRATUITY IS ALREADY INCLUDED ON THE BILL!
Second time getting food from this restaurant. First time ordered for delivery and this last time was dine in. The atmosphere is nice, cozy and the service was great! (Staff was very attentive) The food was delicious and portions were good. The only thing i didnt like was that gratuity was automatically added to the bill, but it still has the boxes in the bottom to add the tip. I had ordered alot of food, as i was treating myself after a long day at work, so when I got my check I figured it was going to be an expensive meal. Yes, reading is fundamental and if I would have read my receipt completely before signing and filling it, I would have noticed that the gratuity was already added, instead I ended up double tipping and not noticing till later when i was checking my receipt again. Maybe it stated before hand on the menu that they charge an 18% gratuity automatically and i missed it? But other than that, like i mentioned the food was good. Ended up spending $48.48 with the double tip.

That is how delicious the food is and the Peach Tea I requested that wasn't even on the menu was tasty.The lady over the phone said she could make it.I can run down each dish but you should go try it for yourself.

Ordered food it had no flavor did not eat. It sent it back. They said no refunds, even though it wasn’t eaten and didn’t taste satisfactory. There’s a sign in the front that says no returns on food right as you walk in the door so there’s a nice warning. The manager does not speak English, so not come over to our table to assist us. Was so rude and the food had no flavor. gratuity was included and we had 5 people and three were kids. So theres that. Not going back there.
So this my first time doing a review through google for a restaurant but you all have to realize even though the business takes out an automatic 15% for tip gratuity it’s because the wages for the workers, especially servers are bad and they got bills to pay also. Most of us don’t tip servers most the time anyway and so that means those servers might end up short on their bills despite working from opening to close at the restaurant. So I enjoyed the service I got today from Makayla and Andre but mainly Andre for his semi knowledge on Japanese Culture and for recommending the Ramune to me and my girlfriend. Will be back again for sure on a day Andre is working.

The restaurant forces a 20% tip without asking the customer and adds it to the total. When requested to tip 15% due to awful service and bad food quality they said do not come back if you dont like it and refuse to tip the 20% denying to speak to a manager about their awful customer service.

The Sake cocktails were amazing I'd come back just for a few rounds of drinks. The Ramen could've been better, but it wasn't bad. The place is cutely decorated but its not exactly date night material. They would benefit from a more intimate mood with low lighting and different music, in my opinion
