What a quaint place, has a gangster decor. We had the fish basket special. It’s huge so we share the basket which had shrimp, fish, hush puppies and a salad plus potato wedges. It goes well with their sweet ice. We ended the meal with dessert “cherry delight”. A must place to stop when traveling in the area. I am sure everything on the menu is amazing also.
Had biscuits and gravy, which were very delicious! (Sorry about the photo, had aleady cut my biscuits when i remembered to take a picture.) Waitress was very attentive but not overly so, allowing us to enjoy our meal. Atmosphere was classic home town diner with various local pictures, news articles, and memorabilia on the walls.
Very friendly and personable staff. The atmosphere makes it feel like dining with family and the food is wonderful. Never disappointed. We eat breakfast there every Friday morning
