At lunchtime there is a gathering of local Law Enforcement, craftsman, constuction and healthcare professionals. Everyone is friendly passing the time waiting for their lunch orders. There was outdoor seating as well as cozy dining room indoors.

What a gem! We were driving along I74 and wanted to find something unique for lunch. The reviews lured us in, and we will definitely be back.
Everything we ordered, from fish to potato salad to burgers, was delicious. The portions were perfect, and the flavors were just right. The atmosphere was also fun and comfortable for our family meal. Our little one absolutely loved the mermaid decorations in the bathroom.
The restaurant is about 1.5 miles off from the interstate and worth the short detour.
Parking: There is a gravel parking lot with designated space for handicapped parking.
Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids menu (fish, hot dog or nuggets with applesauce, fries and a drink). Regular menu items are a la carte, so it's easy to get what you want.
Wheelchair accessibility: The lot is gravel, but there is a ramp to enter the restaurant. The restaurant is a single level with wide, single bathrooms and a variety of tables for easy access.

I stumbled across this lovely little restaurant today. The food was awesome. I had the Pollock , hush puppies, and a peanut butter fudge brownie. I could not get over the ridiculously cute atmosphere. Somebody knew exactly what they were doing. The kitchy Beach vibe is fun and playful without being tack, 10 out of 10 stars for whoever is responsible for that. The lady who waited on us was super friendly and the food was delicious. You really can't ask for more than that. I'll definitely be a repeat customer next time I'm in the area.
The best catfish I’ve ever had. Everything was really good including the service but the catfish is the best. Did I mention the catfish? It was the best.
