Drove an hour Monday morning to give this place I've heard so much about a shot! Definitely worth the drive. We had a loaded omelet and b&g- both delicious! And got a piece of Cookie Dough Delight, Blackberry, Rubarb and Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie-- every piece was excellent! Will be back

Good food, atmosphere, and service, but the pies...Best pies around and have been foe decades. Seriously, pie as an appetizer is our norm whenever we go here. Why wait until you're full from eating your breakfast scramble or double cheeseburger? Pie first!

The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice, it was decorated with some older stuff. The we had was good. The was three in our party one had a hamburger & onion rings, another had a fish sandwich and fries and coconut cream pie, I had catfish potato salad, macaroni salad it was all good. Would Highly recommend. The only problem was it wasn't really handicapped accessible you couldn't really use a walker as one in our party needed to use because of mobility issues.

Parking: The parking was behind the restaurant it was difficult to find when you are not from the area or frequent the establishment.

Wheelchair accessibility: It wasn't really handicapped accessible not enough room to get a walker through.

If you are in the mood for some home made pie, then this is the place you need to be. We had the strawberry and apple and I must say, some of the best I've had.

Maxwell House never disappoints. We go every weekend for either breakfast or lunch, and we always bring home a slice of pie for later. The service is wonderful too! Everyone is kind and helpful.

We just love this place. Only thing I disliked is the cook used her bar hands a lot and touched different things and food.

Couldn't get a refill all through dinner that sucked. French fries were so hard I couldn't even chew through them and they were pretty far burnt. I wouldn't come back here again.
