This establishment is no longer called Angelo O'Leary's. It's now called Rhythm & Blues.

We've been going to NOLA since their original location. Amazing catfish. The shrimp are huge. Shrimp and grits are great. The owner is very friendly. We go every chance we get.I will be back soon.

Had I gone to the bathroom before dining I would've finished my drink, cancelled the food order, paid & left.Absolutely disgusting. One toilet was out of order but i could see it wasn't attached to the floor & could hear water flowing. The other stall did not have a way to keep the door closed so it was open. TP everywhere on the floor. No paper towels. & this was just after opening today.Food was really blah. BBQ Shrimp weren't cleaned enough & the sauce was "broken" with two separate floating colors. Buuut the taste of the sauce was pretty good. Gumbo was just salty soup, 90% liquid.Darn, was really looking forward to some New Orleans food for Mardi Gras.

Asked the dude taking phone orders if a shrimp and grits with no bacon could have an extra shrimp or two to make up for the lack of bacon, he said "NO"super rudely. You don't have to be an a-hole,dude. It's not like I'm asking for a discount, just a replacement since I'm still paying full price, lots of restaurants do that. And an extra shrimp for a (EX-) repeat customer isn't going to shut the place down. It's called customer service!!

Amazing food!! We came here 2 years ago and got the cajun pasta. Came back to Chicago and this is the first place we came to. Rich the manager gave us some gumbo that was some of the best I've ever had. If you're in Forest Park this Is a must stop!

Food was really good. Atmosphere was laid back. Pool and darts as well as a jukebox are avaliable. There bourbon selection was underwhelming but otherwise I had a great experience.
