On-point beers, from a hazy IPA to a hoppy lager to a citrus sour. Pleasantly spacious and airy indoor and outdoor area. Street parking nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. Cheap munchies. Enjoyed it!

Exit Strategy is a great place in Forest Park to get a craft brew, sit and visit with friends, and enjoy a cold drink!

Happy hour awesome. $5.00 beers except the beer I ordered. Its regular price on their website is $7.50 and was not on their happy hour special but other beers priced at $7.50 and $8.00 were. Asked staff and management they have no explanation. Also no food when they used to have food. Alot better places in the neighborhood and elsewhere.

Took a friend who hadn’t ever had beer before here and it was a great first experience! She really enjoyed Tux and Flipper and said it reminded her of eating rainbow sherbert as a child! I loved their Posthumulus IPA but my favorite was their Rue Dauphine Saison! Great if ur local (I am not) and worth the drive to the suburbs if not!

Exit Strategy catered my sons rehearsal dinner. Katherine and the staff were wonderful to work with. The dinner went perfectly and the venue delivered as promised. We would gladly work with Exit Strategy again.

Stoped in today to get a beer and try the empanadas from some outside food place called Papas. First they were late opening up. They were to busy taking pics for the gram instead of worrying about the people waiting for food. The food was way overly priced for the taste and quality. Empanadas were so-so tasting definitely not $7 worth of 2 bites. The steak sandwich was ok tasting but for $20 I expected something great!Of course the 4 stars is for the beers as that is what this place offers. Nothing they can do about the vendors they invite. Hit or miss. This was definitely a miss.I miss the brewery restaurant of before the pandemic. Service was great food was amazing and beers of course were delicious!

The place wasn't busy at all; 6 employees were there, maybe 10 customers. We were told we had to go to the bar to order. The bartender spent 5 minutes plugging an order on an IPad for a beer and then finally poured the beer (she wasn't rude, just not very good). Meanwhile, my buddy went to the window where the grill is located to order food. He was told the only thing they were serving was pretzels, but you had to order them at the bar. Fifteen minutes later we had to go back to the bar to ask where the pretzels were... "oh, your order didn't go thru" Five minutes late the owner came over and said, "sorry, for the delay, let me buy you a round for the inconvenience." The four of us each started to tell her what she was drinking and she said, "no, I'm only getting one for the guy who ordered the beer." The twit didn't even know what a "round" is. She then went back to talk to a customer sitting at the bar while 4 people were lined up order beer under the "order here" sign. All the other workers were still just standing around while the very slow bartender was typing away on her IPad. The beer is not bad and the pretzels were actually good, but the service sucks. We will not go back. There are better options in River Forest and Oak Park.

Solid spot with good beer and food programs. Visit in the summer and fall to get a spot in the large outdoor seating area and then take a walk down the street to downtown Forest Park. Really nice staff and locally owned, so give them some love!

If you are looking for a great local brewery and hometown hang, exit strategy is the place. We would go here every day if we could. The beer is awesome with staple favorites and rotating specials. The food menu is always changing and we can honestly say we have never had a bad bite to eat! They also have suggested beer pairings for every menu item.Apart from being one of our every day favorites, we just had our rehearsal dinner here and would recommend them for any private party or event! We had a full buy out and felt so special having the whole place to ourselves. The staff met our every need, and made our rehearsal feel as special as the wedding the next day! Katherine, the owner, went above and beyond to help us plan and was there to oversee everything! She is the BEST!!!Do yourself a favor and go to Exit Strategy now! Cheers

This place is legit. Their beer is fantastic. The food is fantastic. Our waitress was great. It was our first time, so we sampled a handful of beers and had a few appetizers. We’ll definitely be coming back here.

Great food and amazing beer. Service has been on point the three times I've been here. I liked the beer so much I bought a growler to take home. I will definitely be back.

Really liked the vibe and feel of this place. (I really wanted to like this place) Call ahead- they were out of stock of most of the menu when I was there.I ordered a flight of the light ales/beers and because they were out they substituted dark ales without asking. Service took a very long time while there were three people at the food window seemingly just standing around chatting. Waiting 30+ minutes after asking for the check.

Gem of a brewery. A restored building with tons of character and atmosphere. Pleasantly greeted by friendly owner and staff. Food menu is diverse with some salads and unique dishes. The beer is on point. Variety of styles, a few sours to choose from. One of the better key lime kettle sours around and the sherbert was tasty as well. Hazy’s on tap were delicious. Great service here. Will return soon.

Not sure what I can add that other people haven't. Been coming here for several years. Great beer, great food, great people. Love the addition of the outside area. Keep up the great work!

This place is literally the worst. You are not allowed to take any of your left over food home. They won’t allow any take out. You can’t order take out over the phone or in person. The staff is rude and doesn’t know how to serve their patrons. The patio was empty and the bar had one couple. The hostess was very nice and said that they had take out containers and would accommodate a take out order since they were so slow. The manager put a stop to it and said they would not allow any take out. Make it make sense?
