The claimed they are authentic, the taste of Tom Yom should be light sour salty savory and refreshing yet it a sweet broth. We ordered two dishes and at best it was .70 cents worth of food for $12.95 each. Very disappointed and feel lied to given we called and asked.
Ordered takeout and it was ready on time - the restaurant's appearance was very nice. Basil chicken was fine but the portion was small especially considering we spent $3 for extra veggies. Roaring Tiger had unbalanced flavors dominated by fish sauce making it unappetizing. Portion size was also quite small for this dish. Kaeng Kua was the best dish we had - meat well cooked, flavorful sauce but overpowered by lemongrass. Crab Rangoon tasted like it was from the frozen section of the grocery store. Chive Dumplings were very slimy. Rice containers were 2/3 full and loosely packed. Would not recommend.
First time trying this place-- The food did not taste fresh or good. Several of the dishes had run out or were not available during prime dinner time during a Wednesday night. I had the Habrae Empire which came with a bowl of gravy that was clearly thickened incorrectly with cornstarch so looked extremely unappetizing-- they had covered it with pepper to try to make it look like better which made it taste bad too. I barely ate it which is rare for me because I do not like to waste food. The won ton soup was edible but it looked like it came from a package, not made in house. The blended smoothy drinks were bland with more ice than flavor. The service was fine and restaurant appeared clean although our table was sticky. The sticky rice with coconut was good-- we asked for crushed peanuts on top and they charged us an extra $2-- which I found offputting. We will not be returning as I believe there are better Thai restaurants in the area.
Delicious Thai food with bold, authentic flavors! Loved the sticky mango rice. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. A great hidden gem in Forest Park!
Worst Thai food I’ve ever had. “Pad Thai” made with ketchup? What a joke. One of the dishes was so horrendous it made a fellow diner nauseated. Curry was watery and clearly made with instant ingredients, owner was rude and combative, and waitstaff were clearly terrified of their boss. Unless you want to live out the “before” segment of a Kitchen Nightmares episode sans Gordon Ramsay, take your business elsewhere.
I’ve tried many Thai restaurants and the food here is one of the best I’ve had. Flavors are crisp, well blended and balanced.
Service was as expected. We were sat right away and the staff took our orders pretty quickly after. Food came out really fast as well. Didn’t really feel like we had to wait at all actually. We stayed a bit longer after finishing and didn’t feel rushed to leave either.
Overall, I’d keep this on my list to done again and recommend.

I thought this place was more of a café and Thai bakery, but it is now more than that with a full menu and bar. Started with edamame and crab Rangoon and both were phenomenal. The edamame could’ve been a little hotter when served though. the tea that my wife got was very good and I tried two Thai beers, that were cold and very good. Entrées were pad Thai and Massaman curry. Both were the most flavorable versions I’ve had. The curry had just the right amount of low heat. Decent portion size on both dishes. Only complaint, turn down the phone that kept announcing who was calling. Definitely be back now that I know of this gem. The food definitely earns the 4.8 ranking!
Parking: Plenty of parking in Forest park. In street and numerous parking lots along Madison street to the south.

I went here and was disappointed. As a sous chef, I know the difference between fresh and frozen chicken, and when I was asked how my meal was, I noted that the chicken tasted thawed, over refrigerated (you know that taste!) and the owner took time to be extra rude, insisting it was my taste buds, lol and not his refrigerator flavored chicken.
The owner is rude, the food below average. With so many good Thai restaurants in Forrest Park, I won't be going back here again.

One of the best lunch spots to meet with a friend. Lmk and I'll be there for the noodles, fun butterfly pea drinks and handmade desserts with panda, taro and charcoal. Yum!
