I’m might be late to the party on this but clearly this is not the old school J&J I grew up with. I believe it’s changed since Covid. The last time I got it was in 2019.. and it was on point especially this location. Immediately when I walked in I realized it’s not the same. When I looked at the cooked food it visually is not the same, taste wise it’s not bad but it’s not the same(diff batter/coating on fish). Portions were all off flavors of other things besides...
My mom has been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years. This family owned restaurant is very friendly and the food is always made to order, fresh, hot and accurate. We live 35 minutes away but look forward to stopping by when that fried jumbo shrimp craving hits.
Fries could’ve been a bit fresher. Mine were a tad bit soggy. Service was good. Both gentlemen who helped me were very polite and helpful. Seemed like the understood the community they were serving. Food was good as well.
