I stopped at the McDonald’s on Madison & Desplains this morning (August 17th around 10:14 AM). I pulled off from the drive-thru and went to the McDonald’s on Madison & Taylor instead, because the service here was just that bad.
The first window was closed, so I went to the second one. As I tried to explain that, the worker with glasses and curly dark brown hair in a ponytail…. immediately started questioning me instead of just helping. Rather than taking my payment and moving forward, she kept going back and forth with me in a negative, argumentative way.
I apologized and explained nicely that I didn’t see anyone at the first window. Instead of saying “no problem, I can take care of it here,” she kept pushing the issue. That’s unnecessary and unprofessional. Customers shouldn’t feel like they have to pull off without their food just to avoid dealing with an attitude.
McDonald’s workers need to remember not to bring personal energy to work. A simple apology or willingness to help goes a long way. No one should lose business because staff would rather argue with paying customers than provide decent service.

Personally some of the rudest most disrespectful workers. The cookies tasted horrible and my food never comes out hot. In regards to the workers they are rude and make out of pocket comments. The girl who hands out the food is rude and doesnt check the bag and I have missing items.

The lady who pass my grandma the food was acting like she didn’t want to be there taking her anger out on my grandma just looking at her all rude asking like she didn’t want to hand my grandma the food she was stand way back my grandma couldn’t even reach the food she had to lean halfway out the car to get the food on how far she was stand away from the window my I don’t know what was problem is but she need help

Usually before going to McDonald’s, I placed my order on the app so when I get ready, it’s ready to rock ‘n’ roll. The deals online are always better than what they got in the store. I like McDonald’s, but I try not to go too often.

I'm disappointed with the size of thier fillet o fish ,got small ,tartar sauce was good but happened to the fish half got away
This McDonald’s needs to staff and management! Came inside to order, everyone in the back completely moved from being seen and walked past us up front and no one acknowledged us or told us to use the kiosk! After seeing them walk back in and the people in the back fill orders and no one addressed us I finally ask who in the hell was working the register! It’s almost 5 people all standing here and no ome is being acknowledged! The guy and me go back and forward and he told me I could have just used the kiosk! No you could have just communicated and acknowledged people who came in your store and if it was busy directed us so we weren’t looking stupid trying to get assistance! Then he starts talked Spanish in front of me to another lady! As if I couldn’t understand he was talking garbage about me! This place to me is racist and talking another language in front of someone like I wasn’t going to address him is DISGUSTING! Get ANOTHER DAY JOB!

There is NEVER any salt on the COLD fries. Every single time i come here the fries are cold and bland. Do you even get the salt delivered with the shipment or are you just not using it? If I go to the drive thru they send me to park and take 10 min. If I order curbside it takes 20 min. Fire everyone and start over. They’re either just incompetent or straight up lazy.
