I moved from Chicago 40 years ago and haven't been to Parky's since I was a kid. It was our go-to hot dog spot prior to 1972 when we moved from River Forest. Going back was such a thrill for me after so long, and it hasn't changed! I had forgotten that these dogs come off the grill and aren't soaking in hot dog water for hours (not there is anything wrong with an HDW soak). This place has been in the same spot for decades. LITERALLY! The food is and has always been great and never disappointed. I visited this place as a child over 40 years ago and I still love it to this day. This place is iconic and hasn't change since. It's as if it's stuck in a time capsule. By far one of my fav places in the area! Had an Italian beef that was super good, flame broiled burgers are always great, and best fries in Chicagoland! Great customer service as well! Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
