Piacere Mio Italian Restaurant

The food was delicious and the service was great. Our friends enjoyed the evening so we were happy. We're never disappointed!

Made reservations for a "birthday" dinner at Piacere Mio. The food was hot and delicious and at the end of our meal the "birthday boy" was given a luscious dessert with a candle large enough for all to share. It was a very enjoyable evening and look forward to dining there again soon.

Service was excellent! Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. And the food is always delicious. This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Chicago area.

We had dinner there twice in one week! Service was spot on, the owner and chef came to our table and made sure everything was meeting our expectations. Our dinners were wonderful! I recommend the tuna, branzino, gnocchi and pasta Rustico all were top notch. This is one of my new favorite restaurant. Try Piacere Mio, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful local gem. Creative entrees and appetizers, always fresh. Service is excellent and all are so friendly. Just a wonderful place.

Really delicious food. I had the lobster tail and pasta (Tagliatelle con Aragosta) and I am thinking about the day after. I love seafood with pasta and I find that even good restaurants usually don't nail it, but this restaurant did. Value and service were excellent. Space is charming and inviting. It is loud, but that just means people are having a great time!

The arancini is a must have! All the food we had was delicious! Pasta is fresh and the service and attention was fabulous. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Chicago.

Booked a dinner reservation for my partners 38th birthday Arrived 9/29/25. I am hardworking father/partner) African American and so is my partner (law school graduate) and our 2 children (20 months and 4 yo). We walked in and it was like the staff and white customers had seen a ghost. The restaurant was very quaint and had 4 full tables for our 6p reservation. A staff member said “sit anywhere” We chose a table and was starred at the entire time They never asked did we have a reservation We ordered meatballs, rigatoni wagyu, squid ink pasta, cheese pizza an order of fries (96 was the bill) I tipped $15 even after the horrible experience They never asked what we were celebrating! Didn't offer desert like I we heard them ask other tables They just wanted us out! Conclude, a horrible experience and would hate to have someone of our color book for a birthday or any celebration and be treated like this solely because of the color of their skin. They were not welcoming and ruined my partners birthday.

The food is undeniably delicious. The zucchini blossom app was sumptuous, the ragu rich and tender. What’s not great is the Marshall’s decor, cafeteria lighting, and understaffed service. Water wasn’t refilled, bread was missed entirely, and we waited at every stage: to order our meal, to order dessert, for the check, and lastly to simply take our card. Dining out is about the experience; this one falls short.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here last night. Food and service are both amazing; would definitely come back! In my opinion, this is the best Italian place in Forest Park. Glad we have this great neighborhood restaurant!
