Couldn't be happier than gaettano 3.0 has arrived. The dinner I had returns this covid revived location as pound for pound one of the best Italian eats in Chicagoland. Perhaps the best meal in the area is blossoms, then seared tunno with mashed potatoes and arugula salad, and a hit of dessert and pistachio limoncello

Food was very good. Ordered the Trofie Al Pesto Genovese w/ added shrimp. The bread was given on the side.

The food here is awesome! Had the squid ink fettuccine and the lobster/shrimp tagliatelle. Generous amounts of protein and the sauce on the tagliatelle is amazing!!

I've been coming to Piacere Mio for quite some time now, and it never disappoints! Whether it's a casual weeknight dinner or a special occasion, this place has become one of my absolute favorites. The food is consistently amazing, with each dish bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection. No matter what I order, I always leave impressed and fully satisfied. The best part? The staff! Every time I visit, I'm greeted by the friendliest team who treat me like family. They're always attentive, welcoming, and truly go out of their way to make sure the experience is top-notch. It's this level of service that keeps me coming back again and again. If you're looking for a place that delivers not only incredible food but also a warm, inviting atmosphere, look no further than Piacere Mio. It's a gem I highly recommend, and I can't wait for my next meal there!

Appetizer’s were delicious , calamari , clams all seasoned perfectly . Everything was great from the salad , bread cut into strips with a garlic butter and the pasta and breaded chicken . Tiramisu dessert so creamy & flavorful . We will be back !

The food was quite good as was the service. My husband dined in for a date night, we had the burata and the gnocchi and were pleased with our meal. However, the small space was so packed that it made for an extremely loud atmosphere. We couldn't hear each other without YELLING, and even then my husband joked that he could only hear one of of 3 words I said. Totally not the vibe we wanted for a date night. We just had to basically eat without talking to each other. We rushed through dinner and skipped dessert just so we could get out of the restaurant and away from all the yelling. We enjoyed the food, but we left the "yelling over the crowd" vibe over a decade ago...

Really nice staff but we had a reservation and it took 15 minutes to be greeted and another 5 min after that to even be brought water. Maybe they were understaffed for the evening. The burrata caprese and pear salad were delicious. We all had pastas for entrees. The calamari and shrimp in the Frutti Di Mare were extremely rubbery and over cooked and the sauce was pretty under whelming. The Aragosta was pretty good, a little on the salty side. Rigatoni Rustica was very good. All in all, it didn’t feel like a 5 star experience, especially for the price. However, I’d never fully judge a place on just one dining experience, so I will be back in the hopes of a better experience to raise this review! Again, the staff was very kind and I’m willing to think this was just an off night based on all the great reviews!

Great service, GREAT ambiance....spaghetti left overs even taste good cold!!! Awesome pear salad and the BREAD!!! HECK YEAH!!!

The service was fantastic. The menu selection what's interesting! Our appetizer of the zucchini blossoms. It's extremely delicious.  we enjoyed the pear salad very much . Poached pears were prepared and seasoned well. Homemade pasta was great.

Unbelievable pasta! The Marsala is really good too. I found this place through OpenTable and was not disappointed. My birthday is next week and this is actually where I told my wife I want to go.

This is by far my favorite neighborhood restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The cocktails are so well done! The space is comfortable and inviting. We always leave feeling happy, satisfied, and looking forward to our next meal there.

We were celebrating our anniversary with dinner at Piacere Mio. Paco and Jose always greet us with a smile like we are family. Steamed muscles were delicious and was the poached pear salad. The Ahi Tuna entree was cooked to perfection. Can wait until we go back soon!
