Portillo's Forest Park

This is why I refuse to help people moving forward. Random old guy comes up to me tells me he's homeless & in pain I felt bad so I give him one of my hot dogs. Then I notice he gets another guy to buy him a whole meal. While he waits for that, he starts harrassing another customer for money. I told the employees.. no one did anything not even the manager .. they continued to let that man harrass the customers. I ended up walking out but not without telling that guy he's a liar and that what he's doing is messed up.

Their Italian Beef with peppers are so tasty! Staff are so friendly and doesn't get to busy! I also feel safe in Forest

Coming out of work to have a nice meal to call it a night, not only they forgot 2 of the burgers I ordered, meat was burnt. And including my polish sausage that goes with my Italian beef. You really serving this to customers?? Is crazy.

Waited probably 30 minutes for hot dogs and every aspect of our meal was made incorrectly.

I ordered online for pickup. The online ordering experience had its pros (recommendations, customized orders) and cons (the check out process), so I was doubly pleased when I was greeted by friendly staff in an orderly run restaurant. Pickup can be done quickly from a shelf near the door.

Terrible location. Constantly late on food. They forget to include items I PAID FOR, so they just scam you... Also did I mention they they are always late on orders that I wait at the restaurant for 30 minutes after expected order time and the food is COLD. Go to another location....

Great employees. Stingy with the fries, otherwise fine.

The inside tables and floors were dirty and it took 30 minutes to get our food after ordering. I've eaten at many different locations and this one was by far the slowest and least friendly. I had to check on my order 3 times after waiting before I received it. There was a lot of food sitting out too ready but no numbers being called. Our food was cold meaning it must have also been sitting. Our order was also missing items. Received no apology for the wait or missing items when telling an employee. I would not recommend this location.

We went on Sunday, November 24th, 2024, and it took 40 minutes for our food to be made. Our sodas ice was melted, and the milk shake was warm. Horrible experience.

Sat night, dined in, placed order at 8:18, took 20 minutes to get our food.
Order taking was quick.
The folks at the other end seemed very disorganized and more concerned about talking with their coworkers. Bags of food and drinks, piling up, just sitting there waiting for numbers to be called.
Food delicious, as always.
First time at this location, never had to wait so long for food at any other Portillos...

Took over 15 minutes to get our food. Not happy about that.

It is really bad when you need security at the door. Employees acted liked they didn't care. Very slow service. I would guess poor or under trained management.
