The wood was good but I thought there up charge for sweet potato fries was $3, which I paid for but received regularly fries. It was to late to call, I just sucked it up.

Small but nice little store front restaurant with bar. We went there for lunch. I had the Brined Chicken sandwich that was very good and my wife had the Cuban sandwich which she said was also very good. The server was polite and friendly. We did not wait very long for our food. We’ll definitely go back.

Do not miss your chance to eat at Scratch!!! It may not look like much from the outside, but trust me you won't be disappointed!!! Good was fantastic and fresh! The staff was attentive and friendly! My daughter recently moved to the area and I can't wait to visit again and go to Scratch!

Small, casual, with music playing and TVs showing sports. Large bar in the back half, 2- and 4-top tables in front. I ordered one item from starters and one from the entree menu, and it was enough to share with someone else. The salad tossed with bleu-cheese-ranch dressing was crunchy and had yummy bits of bacon and other things in it. The classic mac-and-cheese I ordered with pulled pork on top was great The pork was a generous portion, tender, and flavorful. The pasta was one of the better restaurant macaroni-and-cheese offerings: creamy, flavorful, with a sharp cheese sauce. Friendly service, generous portions, great taste.

I really love this place, the Mac and Cheese is outstanding and the staff is always fun and very friendly. Great place for kids, I always try to bring my kid to Kids Movie Night. Lots of fun stuff like trivia, bingo and a great place to watch sports. Highly recommended!

Not the fanciest place but I can guarantee burgers are very good! Probably the best in the area! Staff is nice, place is very clean and food is genuine and good!

Most places add feta and/or tzatziki sauce to beef and call it a Greek burger but scratch uses lamb and it could not be better. They also use a potato bun from a bakery not selling to the public, aways fresh and tasty. Slaw is great, fries good also. Good beer selection and all the servers are pleasant and efficient. Had server named Maddy couldn’t be nicer. Great personality. Kate the manager runs a great restaurant. Specials everyday but we go Monday’s for half price burgers and sandwiches.

This Memorial Day my wife and I were trying to find an open restaurant. Not so easy. As we walked along Madison Ave in Forest Park we nearly missed this quirky little place with very narrow street frontage. Once we got inside we found a busy little restaurant with an interesting ambiance. The server was very friendly and helpful. My wife ordered the scratch salad and I the pulled-pork "taco" sandwich. We split an order of "Mediterranean spuds," fries topped with sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, and tzatziki. Portions were generous and everything was excellent.

Hard to find vegetarian options in forest park and Scratch nailed it. The cocktails are strong and delicious and there are ice cold tall boys of tecate and PBR. Thank you!!!

Never had a bad dish from any of the SKL locations. I typically like to grab a breakfast sandwich on the weekends from a grocery store but I'm focusing more on supporting local and independent businesses this year! I had the Veggie Head: eggs cheese red peppers spinach and pesto! Delicious. Sandwich was huge! All fresh ingredients and no egg patty! Grabbed the sandwich and a coffee for $5. Looking forward to my next try!

Good sandwiches. Not liking the new video gambling machines. Could be a little quicker, but the sandwiches are worth the extra time.
