Scratch Public House Reviews
Poor ownership treats employees poorly. No compassion . Burgers are not worth the price
My boyfriend and I had a very disappointing experience at Scratch Public House. When we walked in, the restaurant was nearly empty; only six patrons total, four of whom were seated at the bar. Scratch Public House offers delicious food with options for those limiting their carb intake, such as lettuce bun burgers and cauliflower pizza. Generous portion sizes often lead to tasty leftovers, including the highly recommended ham and cheese sandwich. The restaurant features a friendly atmosphere with live music and sports bar vibes, complete with TVs and high-top tables. Customers praise the tavern style pizza, which they rate as very good or 10/10, and the burgers, especially the smash burger onion soup style, which are considered five-star. The staff, though few, are warm, friendly, and efficient, providing quick service and helpful recommendations. The menu includes a wide variety of beers, with Yuengling on tap, and all condiments are made in-house, such as tartar sauce, marinara, and ketchup. While wheelchair accessibility is challenging, the overall experience remains enjoyable, and many visitors plan to return frequently.
