The food is absolutely terrible. The drinks are ok and the service is good. Our waitress was fantastic, but the food was barely edible...absolutely no flavor and the crawfish was rubbery. Ugh. Only reason 2 stars instead of 1 is the waitress was nice and provided great service.

Awful- gumbo with andouille sausage; smells like it’s turning rotten. Very disappointing- chicken melt, flavorless and needs a sauce like thousand island or the like, plus the tator tots are overcooked, all crisp and no potato. Good- gumbo with shrimp and crawfish. Will not return.

Shanahan's is one of my favorite places in Forest Park, I moved from Forest Park a few years ago but I still go to Shanahan's every chance I get. Their food is always excellent and they have the best staff on the street, they always remember my name and my order. I will give them more than 5 stars if I could!!
