This place use to make good sub sandwiches now they skimp on the meat. How do you make a sub sandwich with all that bread and toppings and barely any meat literally had to take the little meat I had and make a sandwich with half the bread.I guess Franks Deli in River Forest is the new spot to go.

I hadn't been here since early May. I went in yesterday. Ordered a king turkey & a regular corned beef. There was barely any meat on the sandwiches. They were truly skimpy. After this I'll only go for BG fries. They're still very good. Sandwiches, not so much.

I used to come here all the time but the meat didn’t sit well on my stomach. I prefer a certain brand! So, I just go in and buy the bread and oil! I got only two bread loaves $5 and a bottle of oil $3.39 it came out to be $9.23! I wasn’t expecting for the bread to have went up so high! Today was the last time for submarine tender for me!

Let me start off by saying I have been coming to Sub Tender for decades. The original owners were the sweetest people and knew my order from memory.
Service has declined drastically. There's a lady there maybe in her 40's that works at the cash register who is rude, and has a hateful spirit about her. She's confrontational when you try to explain to her she messed up your order. She has a hard time taking accountability for her mistakes and clearly doesn't listen well. Her aura brings a bad vibe to the restuarant and is not good for business.
In these times when people are boycotting businesses she needs to check her attitude. The family needs to send her to therapy and a vacation to deal with her issues. I thought it was just me until I spoke with other people who had run ins with her.
It's a shame when the original owners worked so hard and generations after destroy the quality and the legacy they left. At this point I can no longer patronize this business, some of the other people that work there are nice, but she's horrible.
If anyone has any recommendatioms on amazing local sub places that I can patronize please let me know. It's crazy that I have to stop patronizing a local business that I have been going to since I was young due to the ignorance and hate of one person. I wish them peace and blessings. Be careful how you treat people.
Small parking lot. Got 2 king sized subs and the the contents are seriously less then what you would get at subway. Save your money go to Mr. Subs. Better quality and a proper helping

My daughter had the cheese sticks and fries. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The fries are definitely so good.. my chicken sandwich seemed like it was made sloppy with that lettuce. Just throw it all over there and two pieces of chicken breast. No cheese. And that was it. The location is decent and the restaurant was clean. 🫶🏿

Normally this place is awesome, but tonight they gave me a terrible sandwich. I ordered a ham and turkey with extra cheese and no onion, and what I received was just ham, turkey, and a single serving of cheese, with no other toppings. Very disappointing from a normally consistent sub shop.
