It's a pub with a bar and some real good sandwiches. Or just call it your neighborhood joint. Bartenders all nice, lots of stools at the vintage bar as well as separate barstool tables underneath sports TV's at every angle possible. In good weather, daytime or nighttime the back outdoor patio is divine. But the star of the show is Alfredo's superb sandwiches, French fries second to none and excellent salads with top notch protein add ons. Ok, I'll grant you, not a beer lover's paradise (no Drafts) and the small bottle serving wine minimal at best but it's a great hangout with some excellent food at decent prices. And it's a relic of the past still alive!

Attended Bingo Night event hosted by the Forest Park Public Library's Older Adult Cohort. BEACON was an EXCELLENT VENUE! Great Food. Great Prices. Excellent Service. The Patio was cozy. LOVED the COMFORTABLE Chairs!!! Will definitely come back!
