Everything about this place is awesome. Food is consistently great, great stuff to keep kids entertained all around, sports on TV, great local beers and of course the service is top tier.

What a wonderful surprise! We took our son for his birthday and I just thought they’d have basic kid-centric foods, nothing special. Well I was very wrong, there were many options to choose from, I picked the pasta with three different veggies and it was fabulous. Wide variety of food selection, a game room in the back and a train that delivers food. What more could you ask for!

As a grandfather I get roped into explorations with the 3 yrs old. I expected a loud machine room with gummy pizza and screaming kids staffed by indifferent teenagers.

It isn't. A delightful restaurant with a decent menu well prepared. The waitress was experienced with children and grumpy adults. Beer and artisanal soda is available.

You have to sit at the counter so you can see your order exit the kitchen on the train.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to the service. The staff is so very empathical to children. I am in awe.

I've been to The Junction Diner many times, and my kids and I have always had a great experience there. We hosted my son's 8th birthday party there this past weekend, and it was awesome! Brad was very helpful throughout the process of booking/organizing the party - he's very passionate about his restaurant, and truly cares about his customers' satisfaction. The party went off without a hitch, and as always - the staff was friendly and attentive. It's a wonderful restaurant - especially if you have children - and a great place to host a birthday party. Prices are very reasonable.

Easily the best restaurant I've been to within driving distance and the second-best overall. I visited just to play some pinball with my father, and the employees didn't mind at all that we didn't eat food at first. The two machines they had (Rocky and Bullwinkle and Bobby Orr) were in good condition, especially Bobby Orr since the restaurant owns the machine entirely while R&B is partly owned by an operator. Do be warned however that the Game Room in the back (which houses the pinball machines along with a handful of other games) doesn't have any reception. Thankfully, everywhere in the restaurant but that small room does have reception. Before we left, we tried a basket of fries just to see if the food way any good, and they were definitely the best fries I've ever tried. Great value for only $5 too! The atmosphere is remarkable since the restaurant used to be a bank, which you can tell by the entrance and just the old-timely look of the building inside, which adds to the charm in my opinion. Last but not least, the train, which was just the cherry on top of the whole experience. I totally recommend it to everyone. If you're not into the train, there's plenty of other things to keep you occupied.

Fun place to take the kids. There’s some arcade games, small rides for the kids while they wait to hear the choo choo which means their meal will be arriving by train on the counter. Highlight: food for adults was delicious! BLT wrap was great and reasonable.

Super fun place to come with the kids! Multiple games, photo booth, chalk wall, and a train ride are all great things to keep the kids busy while the food cooks. The best part is having the food come out on a train and watching your kids face glow with excitement!

Fun little train for kids to see that delivers food. Love the Atmosphere, A chalkboard for kids to draw on, and a few games.
