I was skeptical at 1st about trying a desi resturant in a Mall. However after meeting the owners, I must say my views have changed. Goat curry was great. I asked them for a custom spice level and they hit that on point. Highly recommend them and ask for daily special. Will be back once I'm in town again.

Amazing food! Indian food is my favorite, and this did not disappoint. I got the combination platter with chicken korma and butter chicken (added spice). My son got the tandoori chicken, a treat and experience in itself!!!!
Everything was AMAZING!!! I got Tikka Masala. It was spicy and delicious. My family got other dishes like tandoori chicken, butter chicken, korma, and chili chicken. We all loved it!
The food is outstanding....unmatchable....it taste pure indian ....I ordered some vegetarian option and non veg both taste so good...highly recommendable ...this place has pure indian taste that nobody will regret.

I recently visited a restaurant with an amazing concept. They use the old ordering style, similar to Panda Express, where you can order a side and two entrees. The best part is that everything can be made to order and they offer several options. The service was fantastic - the staff member was very thoughtful and helped my wife choose the right items. She even allowed us to sample items before making a decision. All items are listed as mild, but you can make them spicy if you ask. My wife absolutely loved the garlic naan (highly recommended). I also noticed they offer ice cream, which I'll definitely try next time. If you're not a fan of curry or haven't tried it before, I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. The staff will be happy to offer you something to try, and I'm sure you'll find something you like. This is definitely not one to pass on!

Had the Palak Paneer and chicken tikka masala- I liked the vegetables added in with the masala, added nice texture and flavor. Really good quality and decent price for the portion, I was impressed! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, definitely recommend:)

Stopped in for lunch with my husband and we ordered a variety of items. We were so happy with the food and the amazing service. This has been one of our best dining experiences in this area. We will definitely be going back. Customer service like this is so rare and wonderful to find. Everything tasted terrific!
I have lived in six states and several big cities where I frequently ate South Asian food. I actually prefer the plastic-utensil, strip-mall joints. Curry Xpress is one of the best values to be found anywhere.The lamb in the curry was the leanest I have had for the price (outside of Dearborn!): no gristle or fat. My wife's spinach saag was bright and fresh. The owner/front-facing guy is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating; they served up several made-to-order dishes in the short time that I was eavesdropping. Decatur is lucky to have him and this restaurant.

The vegitable curry tastes like the most comforting bowl of veggie soup. We will be back again and again! Check it out, you won't regret it.
