Never ordered from them before and glad I was willing to take the chance. Pizza was fantastic!!! Definitely a McHenry County top five. We like pizza done a particular way between Having Italian beef on it with barbecue sauce, and that was not one of their options on the online ordering portal. After the order was placed, I called and explained it. The kid who picked up the phone did a great job getting it fixed and it showed up at our house exactly like what I wanted it to be. We’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

Had dinner at Lapizzavia in FRG with my buddies and it was so good. We got the NY style angry calabrese and NY style bbq chicken with a side of garlic knots. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the pizza was cooked perfectly. Service was friendly and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Great spot for a relaxed dinner—will definitely be coming back!

Found this place on door dash. Tried it a few times and it was amazing we had to stop in to try it fresh and it does not disappoint. The margherita pizza ny style is awesome.

Not from around these parts, but couldn’t resist trying the New Yorker Detroit-style pizza…..from the Chicago area. Chuckled at the irony at that. The hot honey was a good aspect of the pie.
Family has raved about the Detroit-style Angry Calabrese pie (with added hot honey)…so next time.
If you’re getting garlic knots, well they are swimming in butter…so you best love butter!
Place is geared to take out as the attached seating area just felt like an after thought…sparse yet clean.
PS, the New Yorker was super good out of the fridge, cold, the next morning.
The only gripe is that I found the online ordering to be super non-user friendly.

We got tired of the same old pizza places and discovered La Pizza Via in Fox River Grove. If you love pizza, this place is a gem. The selection is amazing. Where else can you get a Chicago thin crust pizza, as well as a Pan, New York, or Detroit style pizza? The choices of toppings and specialty pizzas are most creative, ranging from veggies, Vodka, buffalo, and white Mediterranean. When we are not in the mood for pizza, they have pastas and calzones of course, but also unique stuffed breads including chicken or meatball parm, BBQ chicken, and Cheese steak. The quality is excellent and consistent. We have also ordered their food for parties and our guests were very impressed with the variety and delicious food. We highly recommend La Pizza Via.
