Absolutely amazing! My fiance and I tried Bear Down for the first time and we highly recommend! It is so delish and we could eat there everyday! Great job!
Food was delicious and the staff is super friendly! We ordered a mac and cheese with brisket and one with pork as well as a bbq brisket sandwich. All of it was mouth watering!

5+ stars!! Ordered a small rib tip combo to go. Staff was friendly, food was fantastic, wait was short. Rib tips were cooked perfect, BBQ sauce was plenty and full of flavor, hands cut fries drenched in BBQ and a slice of bread. 10 bucks and I'm stuffed. Highly recommend!

Nice little barbecue joint in Frankford, IL that is tucked away in the back of the parking lot of a strip mall off Lagrange Road. Barbecue was good, loved the rib tips and pulled pork sandwich i got. French fries needed to be cooked longer so they have that snap you like and the seasoning was delicious ?

The pork rib tips and links were so sam good! I got them with no sauce. My hubby had the chicken tips and he said they were good but you have to eat them while there hot because once they get room temperature/cold, they get dry. He got the sauce on the side and he said it was really good. My daughter had the chicken tenders, she liked them but wish they were a lil bit more crispy but flavor was on point. Overall, we were happy especially getting back home before the storm came. ? The father who's at the front counter was a pleasure to talk too. Him, myself, and my hubby had nice conversation while we waited on our food. The pitmaster came out with our food and he was a nice guy, seems very genuine. Thanx bear down ??

Previous to COVID this was a good place to support. The current situation I wouldn't recommend to my worse enemy. Ordered Via Uber Eats this past week and my experience was an epic fail! The menu states 1/2 POUND OF Spare Ribs ($12) and as well a 1/2 POUND of Chicken Tips ($10) - Fries ($4.00) . The pictures ive enclosed cant lie as to what i received . i was TOTALLY pissed . ( since when is a 1/2 a pound 2 rib bones ?? The chicken tips ..... 1 chopped up Chicken Breast & the $4 order of fries about equal to MvDonalds SMALL FRIES. how can you even sleep serving your patrons as such at these prices and falsely describing the portions . Never again !!
