I’ve been going to grounded for over a year now and over that time my experience went from ‘I love this place’ to ‘I’d rather not have coffee’.
The atmosphere is amazing if you need to work on your laptop or need a place to sit and read for a bit.
However, some of the staff are just incredibly unfriendly and rude. Also, each time I’ve gone in my latte is getting less and less full. Today I paid $8 for a latte that didn’t have any syrup added despite paying for it (I watched the barista make it and she never added any) and the milk that was added didn’t reach halfway up the cup. It had two inches of foam, and even that didn’t reach the normal fill line for a cup. As a former barista myself I paid for a flavored latte and got a crappy cappuccino.

I’ve been here numerous times over the years, and never have I paid so much for a coffee as I did today. I ordered one of their Fall specials, a cold brew, and almost fell over when the cashier said my total was over $12! For ONE cold brew. I won’t be returning.
