I didn’t pay attention to their hours so I came in at 4PM. They close at 4. They were amazingly flexible and started cooking for me and another person asap. I had been getting patty melts for awhile from them and no one is making them better! Just tried their fried chicken and it’s delicious! Thank you just need to get there earlier…
A cozy spot, I went for lunch. The new owner was highly accommodating for an error that was made. The fried chicken wings and banana loaf bread were delicious! I gave some to my 10 yr old daughter later for dinner who asked me where was it from bc it was so good!!
I no longer live in Illinois. But when I did, this was a great place to get food.
Pete is a fantastic guy. He owns the place. He will always help out and loves conversation.
