The gals were friendly and helpful. We hung around for a bit and had some ice cream, didn't feel rushed at all. It was pricey but the value was there and we're supporting local business.

Walking into Short & Sweet Tasty Treats in Frankfort, Illinois is like stepping into a little corner of candy heaven, lovingly crafted by some seriously hardworking women. The moment you walk in, you can feel the dedication and heart that these ladies pour into every treat.

It’s not just about the delicious candies (which are out of this world, by the way), but the entire experience they create. Each piece of candy feels like it’s been made with a whole lot of love and a dash of that roll-up-your-sleeves determination. You can just tell that these women are giving it their all, and it makes every bite that much sweeter.

I’ve watched as a customer, walking by the shop, and as a passer by. Each morning they make sure doors are clear, decorations are just right and the shop is ready to go. It’s what you would want to see in a small business - love.

So if you’re in the area and want to support a fantastic women-owned business, definitely stop by and treat yourself. You’ll leave with a bag of goodies and a whole lot of appreciation for the passion they put into their craft.

My Autumn ritual is ordering the “variety pack of four” taffy apples x 6 for my wonderful staff, assistants and hygienists (shhh… our’s is a dental office and the temptation is too strong to resist the Best Taffy Apples in the World). Delicious but very addictive, in a great way !!

We happened to stumble upon this place visiting from out of state. The staff was extremely friendly! Kids loved the ice cream. Adults enjoyed the coffee and chocolate. Everything was great!

I love this little ice cream shop! It has the cutest little sitting area and SO MANY little treats! The two wonder women behind the counter made us feel welcomed and were so patient with my daughter and her ever changing mind. Haha the shakes are THICK and I adore it. Would absolutely recommend

Such a cute little shop with the best desserts - the owner is very friendly and personable and makes it a point to get to know her customers. Don’t sleep on the coffee either! I thought with it being a dessert shop it would just be your average brew but the lattes are divine

They have a wonderful selection of candy from my younger days! They also have delicious chocolate items, huge candied apples and amazing truffles!

The two ladies who took care of us are literally the nicest people I've encountered. In any establishment. Ever. They were so welcoming, personable, and just plain happy. You could tell they loved their job and took pride in what and who they were serving. We were so full from dinner and far from home(and not immediately going home either), that options were limited on what we could buy. But, let me tell you, the options were not limited. They had so many items to choose from that it was actually a bit daunting. We settled on a small 99-cent almond biscotti, a single shot of espresso on ice, and a small vanilla cone. It was all delicious and we enjoyed everything. Thank you for the next level service. Keep it up! We would definitely go back if we're in the area again.

This wonderful place and their delicious desserts helped us with our gender reveal today! I cannot recommend them enough! The owner went ABOVE and BEYOND for us! We truly are so grateful for their help and kindness !
