Service was extremely friendly and attentive. We sat outside on the patio for dinner and tables were clean. Cheese curds for an appetizer but for $14 we hoped for something better than frozen, you can get the same thing at culvers for $4. Turkey BLT wrap and burger for $16 each but average at best, not moist and tender, abit disappointing. Was hoping for better quality food for the price.

Breaded Calamari Sticks were prob the best I've ever had.

Sweet Potatoe Fries (dusted with maple brown sugar) dipped in Marshmallow Creme is to die for!!!

Blackened Shrimp Wrap was just blah. Shrimp was good, but not blackened. Pineapple salsa was bland. In my opinion needed a creamy honey sauce, not sriracha.

I'll be back for sure!

Went here last week cuz it's the only brewery that I haven't been to yet. The server was nice and attentive, but that's the only positive thing I can say about this place. The beer was mid at best. The food was absolutely horrible! I ordered the scallop entree and my boyfriend ordered a burger. He said his burger was not seasoned at all. The lemon beurre Blanc was clumpy and separating, the rice pilaf and vegetables were flavorless. For the price I paid, needless to say, I won't be coming back.

I really wanted to rate this place fairly high but the food here was a bit imbalanced and Ill explain in a bit more detail. However, I did like the setup and its located in the historic area of Frankfort on the main food drag. Its picturesque and has a modern facade but the interior is darker and cross between farmhouse/diner/pub style.

Being that it was early dinner; there was an over-abundance of staff, possibly needed for an anticipated evening rush. Just odd they crowded the entrance/exit way. The service was fine but rather aloof. Nonetheless, it’s the food that I am here to try.

Started with the jambalaya. Now I am quite worldly and have travelled to 5 of the 7 continents and many places in the USA; and I know excellent jambalaya. This was better than average. There was really good heat, nice chunks of andouille sausage and surprisingly 4 nicely sized shrimp. Very tasty serving but needed a bit more rice cause there was very little, which made it a bit out of balance without carbs. Also, it was to be served with a side of bread which I never received.

I rarely overeat and portions are fairly large so I was pleased to see blacked sea scallops as an appetizer and it promised to be a good portion (its listed as U10). Of the 3 scallops, one was sorely too small. Visually, it should have been equal-sized, like the many places I have been to in many large cities from NYC to Miami; LA and back to Chicago. I am just saying that if you state a specific size of scallops, is it too much to have them all sized evenly. But the sear was excellent and the taste was wonderful on the larger scallops. It paired well with the lemon beurre blanc. The chimichurri was more of a paste and not the usual liquidy olive oil based sauce.

Overall, the experience was good.

Cheers to Jackie and Katie for helping make my daughter's bridal shower perfect. Guests loved the food, the room and Katie was the best host. A restaurant Frankfort can be proud of.
