I celebrated my graduation last night in this excellent restaurant. Well we had a tremendous evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for the outstanding evening. The crew participated in a pleasant style, the food was yummy and my guests were extremely thrilled. We shall surely return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Today I stopped here for lunch with a coworker. I got the taco dinner with steak tacos and a couple margaritas. The service was excellent, the drinks were on point

This restaurant is a local gem in Franklin Park! I try to stop by La Botana at least once a week for their delicious food! I love their tostadas de picadillo, and their tacos (especially on Tuesdays and Sundays when they're only $1)! The food is made with the freshest ingredients, and the staff is always friendly. :)

The pop was flat the food was dry and steak was old like it was cooked long time ago and my girlfriend didn't even get her rice and beans I forgot about it I tried telling the waitress but didn't understand English we actually couldn't wait to get out of there the the waitress had to make our food finally to cook came in through the door and even wash his hands started touching food there's a lot better Mexican places in this very disappointed

Meh.....I wasn't impressed. Rice was undercooked and cold. I did like the nice elderly lady that was helping out.

We went when they first opened to try a specific taco that had meat, rice & a fried egg. My boyfriend ordered it & they served it with a little rice & a scrambled egg. My bf asked if they could make it how it looks in the picture but the cook apparently didn't know go to make eggs like that. Strike one. We went to their grand opening & it was busy. It was byob so we brought our drinks in, were seated & enjoyed the music. The waitress took our order & was friendly. About 45 minutes later we asked how much longer. Other people who can in after us were already eating. After a few inquiries & "the food will be right out" responses we saw the manager & cook digging through order slips in the trash. Guess they threw out our order. Strike two. We asked to speak to the manager to find out what the heck & the manager told us "you HAVE to understand our cook is new & it's not our fault!" Not even an apology. They gave us a discount on our bill, probably about 30%. Strike three. We felt like we were treated like s*** there because people who came in that the owner knew personally were attended to immediately. Personally we only think the only reason they're still in business is they're money laundering, lol, j/K. They've completely lost my business but my poor bf wants to give them another chance. I think he had his heart set on that taco

Salsa was fabulous, chips were salted and fresh...yum. The food was good but the beans were too cooled, maybe because it was early and we were only patrons. Price was a little high on some things, but service was very good.

Phenomenal food and a very kind staff. If you like spicy foods, I recommend getting some of the spicy salsa. It's freshly made and absolutely delicious. Great find in Franklin Park!
