NO prices listed. NO menu. NO signs on the 5 or 6 scones stating what kind they are, especially when they pretty much all look alike & uninspired. Are customers expected to order without knowing how much it’ll cost?

My boyfriend and I have been coming to Steam Anchor for years, and it’s always held a special place in our hearts. Even though we moved away about a year ago, we were in town today and it reminded us exactly why we loved this place so much.
We brought in a bunch of old punch cards we had saved over the years, and Angel went above and beyond for us. She took the time to total everything up and treated us to two drinks. She was so kind and helpful, and honestly, just another reason why we’ve always appreciated the people at Steam!

Stopped for a sandwich, didn't realize they were almost closed. Staff was so hospitable. Encouraged us to order. Ordered a steamer club cold sandwich and a Italian beef sandwich with au jus. Excellent presentation, taste. Generous portion. Both sandwich cost about $23.00 total Worth it! Great quality

Not only are the espresso drinks good but the food is excellent, also! Try the Italian beef or the autumn harvest salad. Comfortable atmosphere. They also sell their own local honey.

Got all the way to hyvee before i took a drink to realize my chai latte was accidentally made as a normal coffee latte. Went back to get my drink i ordered and they didn’t even compensate me. not happy

Major slay. Staff is v kind and knowledgeable about the menu (year-round and monthly). Music is great. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
The pastries are to-die-for. A white chocolate raspberry scone warmed up will bring Jesus back. The blueberry muffin is also a go-to for my mother and myself. Get the double chocolate chip muffins while you can though because they seem to sell out fast.
