This is a 3.5 star restaurant for me. I rounded down due to the higher ratings.

The food was slightly above average. The chips were good, but the table salsa was a pico de gallo. It was seasoned well, but not very easy to scoop with the chips.

The nachos were good. The chorizo was a little on the greasy side.

The drinks were reasonably priced. They are well known locally for the margarita flights. They had a nice variety of flavors, but I think it would be more cost effective to buy a few pitchers to share.

They have a main dining room, a patio and an upper level deck.

Overall good. I got chicken enchiladas; they were a bit bland and wouldn’t get them again. The pina colada was amazing and great size for value. Also ordered steak fajitas and they were amazing! The guacamole is also really fresh. Not sure why the chicken enchiladas didn’t taste as good as everything else but would recommend to those who like a quick bite to eat with a nice atmosphere right on the corner of downtown galena

Terrible experience!!! The server was coming to our table every five minutes to ask if we were ready to order. It seemed that she was rushing us to go home. I ordered a fresca margarita and IT DIDN'T SAY on the menu that the choice of tequila was extra. I asked to talk to the manager and he just played dumb. If there is one place that I will NOT come back is this one!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I DON'T recommend!!!

Got the steak chimichanga, the steak taste old, so I sent it back for chicken tacos. They were bland and had no flavor. The chicken fajitas were bland as well. The rice look like it had been in a blender and also bland. We’re ordered a jalapeño thinking it would give the food some flavor. WRONG also bland. We ordered Best thing was the queso dip and drinks. But we paid $90 for bland fajitas, 2 tacos, 1 margarita and 1 order of queso.. Definitely wasn’t worth it. And this was during happy hour! Nothing happy about it. And definitely won’t be visiting again

The atmosphere and service was very good. Everyone was very friendly and served well, except that the food is not good. This food may be good for a gringo but not for a Mexican. It is very dry, the rice is still hard, the enchiladas lack salt and other seasonings in the sauce. It is also very expensive, I have never paid $18 for 3 tacos.

A small interior, but lots of outside seating during good weather. Food was authentic, delicious, large portions, and the guacamole and pico were perfection!!

Startlingly good food, if you aren't looking for pico with your tortillas they have an excellent red sauce. I got the chorizo chimichanga which had wonderful flavor without being overly greasy.

We had reservations for a party of 10 celebrating a bachelorette party (on a Saturday night during tourist season). The restaurant was busy.

Reservations were easy to make. Service was fast and efficient. Joe, our server, was on top of our order and attentive to everyone's needs. Every order came out correctly and tasted amazing. If you are visiting, 10/10 recommend this place. They had live music and karaoke as well (we did not partake) but this bar/restaurant could be your one stop shop for your nights entertainment.

The owner stayed open late for our large group a few years ago. We will always return. Food is fantastic and plentiful. Great drinks and very reasonable. I don't care who u are, you'll be happy you visited.
