While my wife & I were shopping in Downtown Galena we decided to take a little break. Instead of coffee our normal break confection we decided to try Champagne on Main, (our 1st visit). Well it won't be our last. It was a Saturday early afternoon and we were warmly greeted by Laura the owner. She gave us a great table up front by the Bar & Sunny Front Window. The day was cold 32 degrees outside but inside Champagne on Main it was delightful. Laura was so excited about her place and gave us a bit of history on her old building. Drinks were perfect & prices not bad. We relaxed, (chilled) there for about an hour...then off for more shopping. Thank - You Galena for the great day.....and you to Laura!PS - Laura showed us her new El Fresco outside seating area out the back door...nice quiet garden like spot with a tall wood fence that seats about 30 people. Going back for sure this upcoming Summer. Well Done Laura & staff!

My family and I come here twice a year and always have a positive experience. Most recently, we came during a snow storm. They welcomed us, provided amazing service, and the vibes were incredible! Highly recommend the Chambord Kir Royale or Purple Haze Margarita.

I had a delightful beverage here the other day. I popped in to warm up for a few mins and had fully intended to get either a champagne or bourbon flight and ended up having a Sugarplumtini instead because it just sounded so yummy. I can confirm it’s delish so if you’re in the area now, stop by and get one for yourself!

I loved stopping in here yesterday to try one of the martini specials. I'd seen this place on Instagram and added it to my Galena itinerary for when I visited. I was originally going to do a bourbon tasting and then opted in with the martini instead. It's super cute inside, and I'd def come back with some of my friends for a fun girls day. I was in and out in under 20 mins, so they definitely have some quick service.

We had all the champagne flights, peach bellini, and the lavender margarita. Everything was so good. Our waitress was so sweet. I can't belive I forgot her name. I'll blame it on the bubbles. Live music and a great place to slip in outta the crowds.

This place is incredible! You have to stop if you love champagne. Their cocktails are excellent too along with super friendly servers. Didn’t try any snacks, but all in all wonderful experience.Purple haze margarita ?Pool Boy ?Try 2 sparkling sweet tasting ?

This is a classy place with a nice atmosphere and great servers. There was live music when we stopped by on a Friday night. We tried one of their champagne tastings and had a peach Bellini. Their cake pops were good too! It was great for a celebratory night!

Champagne on Main is an excellent addition to the incredible lineup of retail and food/beverage options on the Main Street of Galena. It can easily get lost between the other shops if you are not looking for it.As suggested, champagne is their main offering. No beers, but there are PLENTY of other places that serves beer, some only a couple doors down. They do have a large selection of whiskies, particularly bourbon. The champagne selection was quite impressive, but I’m personally a bigger fan of whisky so I ordered the Calumet Flight. I thought everything was priced well, maybe on the higher side for a glass of Champagne but that is to be expected. Get a bottle if you know you will be drinking more than a couple glasses.Service was great. Our party of 8 were taken care of very well. The space itself is just beautiful. There’s some patio seating out back with some two seaters inside on the first level. Gorgeous winding stairs lead to the second level where there are couches and seating arrangements for larger groups.I’d highly recommend this place for those looking for a quick buzz during your trip to Galena. It’s also perfect for gatherings like bachelorette and other smaller parties.

To find this place empty is a shame. It's so cute. I love the bling, and the service was wonderful. Cute little patio in the back nice seating in the main area. The drinks are so freaking good. I had the June bug. If you like rum and pineapple, this is your drink, so refreshing. Purple haze margarita soooo good so smooth. I'm definitely coming back to try more.

If you're ever in Galena please add this to your places to visit. Very beautiful inside and the ladies working behind the champagne bar were amazing. Loved the atmosphere and great hospitality. The cute window display is what caught our eye as we we scrolling down the street. Once we stepped inside it took our breathe away. The service was top notch. The peach moscato was so delicious. This was actually my favorite places to visit in Galena. Champagne on Main Street is a place to come and visit.
