What a great place to stop for delicious food and friendly service. Had breakfast here... Denver Omelet with hash browns and toast. Perfectly done. Coffee was smooth and hot. We will stop in again next time we are in the area.

No frills here, no main street, located near Culver’s, just a good breakfast stop with reasonable prices. We used to come here a lot as a family, until my wife became gluten-free, and then the visits stopped. Because they had very little as far as gluten-free options. I was in town alone, so I was able to have breakfast. I really enjoyed French toast, bacon, hot chocolate, all delicious. Was here last Saturday. Down home family style restaurant. Ordered a veggie skillet with toast. Arrived within a short wait.
Eggs were cooked perfect and veggies were sautéed to perfection.
My friends also enjoyed their breakfast dishes. Blueberry pancakes and meat filled omelet.
Will definitely revisit next time up in Galena, IL. Highly recommend if you want a good meal without added unnecessary frills.
Btw... Our waitress was very pleasant...
