Authentic cuisine in a romantic bistro setting.
What we liked most about Fritz and Frites was the quality of the food and the menu diversity. Husband had the German sauerbraten, spatzle, and red cabbage with Hefeweizen beer, I had trout, potato/leek soup and a nice glass of Bordeaux blanc. Topped it off with brandy soaked plums w cinnamon ice cream and a tawny port. Portions wee just right and everything was prepared just as it should be. Service and value were excellent.
Would return here again and recommend to others!
My husband and I went to Fritz and Frites Bistro on our first night in Galena, and we are so glad that we did! The food was amazing and the waitress was wonderful. It was a great way to kick off our Honwymoon!
