We had an excellent dinner on Friday. Everything was amazing. Our kids (all 5, under 8 y/o) especially loved the the Chicken Schnitzel . Service was impeccable. We might have to plan a trip to Galena in near future so we can dine here again.

Been here one time for my birthday. Service was great! Nice little small place. Food was good, not familiar with this cuisine but I did enjoy it. With several cocktails, appetizer, and entrees for two people the bill was pretty pricey. They sent out a slice of german chocolate cake for my birthday which was so nice of them and amazing. It was larger than my face!! I think this place makes for a great date night. In the summer they do have outdoor seating, so I would like to come again and sit outside next time.

I have been wanting to visit this place for a while, and it definitely lived up to my expectations! Our food, drinks and service made for a wonderful evening. I had the cassoulet and my husband had the wienerschnitizel. The flavors were outstanding and the drinks were wonderful. We will definitely come back.

The schweinshaxe is being made by people who have never had the real thing. There is no crispy skin, and the sauce is one dimensional: it overwhelmingly tastes like burnt onions. I have never felt this underwhelmed at this sort of price point.

Service was perfect! Food was pretty disappointing though. We ordered pork shank(Schweinshaxe) and tender beef roast. Both were very dry that we had to drink a lot of water to even swallow them down…
Amazing how much better can it be I am astounded by how well the dates are and how well it is being in a place where it is cold for three months

Decorations are cute - server was friendly - wait time was good - most importantly, food had superb flavor. Thanks so much for an awesome experience, we are locals and we will definitely be back! Daughter wanted to go to Galena and eat here for her 16th birthday.Made a reservation about a week in advance and would highly recommend doing so.The service was exquisite and the atmosphere was just as good.We tried 3 different entrées and were not disappointed in any of them. The schnitzel were delicious and the sausages were on point. A good amount of food on each plate.Overall, a great meal for a great occasion. Will definitely revisit.
