We did a tasting at the Galena Cellars. The building is beautiful and provides a lively atmosphere for wine tasting. The lady serving us our tasting was very knowledgeable and gave great reviews for wine we would like. We were able to sample 7 wines for $8. We purchased a bottle to take home and a glass to enjoy at the bar downstairs. There was live music as well. Would return to do the sampling again to try more of the large selection of wines!

The worst unfriendly, and uninviting customer service I have ever received in my entire life.
They charged us for the flight that they mistakenly gave us!!!! Discussed with staff then manager and she repeatedly declined to refund us. Never had such a poor customer service response

Decent spot for a local wine tasting. Tried a flight of reds and a flight of whites. Reds were better than whites. Cabernet was the best of the bunch.

As a frequent visitor to Galena and wine club member, I make sure to stop at Galena Cellars as often as I can! I love coming to this place with most recently being for my bachelorette party in September. (We were also the granny group from last November ;) The new visitors in my group loved finally seeing the winery I talk about so often. Tyler always seems to be working when I'm visiting and he does a great job while having a great sense of humor.This place has everything - a cool environment, great energy, fun staff and AMAZING WINE! After coming to this place for the first time about 5 years ago, I couldn't even tell you how many times I've been back it's been so often.Their wedding cake wine is my favorite!! My husband and I got married on 10.13.23 and we had a bottle on every table for our guests to enjoy as well. But really all of their wines are tasty!I would highly recommend coming here to anyone and everyone!Ps. I have been collecting wine bottles from here for years and used them in our engagement photos and wedding decor at the wedding. It's a small detail, but when a place means a lot to you something as simple as wine bottles can hold so many memories. I included a few photos taken by our fabulous photographer, Rachel Nicole Photography, as well as the decor vision I setup in my kitchen.

Beautiful building and decor in building Very comfortable feeling inside, Nice selection of wines. Would have gotten five stars except for while doing a tasting, the bar tender really seemed to try and rush us through the tasting and short pours of the samples of the wines we selected.
The new facility in the downtown area is really nice. The first floor was really busy and confusing about what to do. The second floor we were greeted right away and the server was wonderful.

Galena Cellars Winery is situated in a beautiful building. I visited the upstairs tasting room and was surprised at the huge selection available to try. The tasting was very reasonably price and you get 6 wines per tasting! Every wine was delicious. I can’t wait to get home and enjoy my bottle of Peach Cask. There are restrooms available near the tasting bar as well some wine affiliated items for sale.

I come here often as my friend is a wine club member. The wine is amazing! Also Cathy is the best! She’s so knowledgeable and helpful and one of the friendliest bartenders!The food is good but the Fig Brie is also to die for!

My new FAV Winery! We stopped in on short trip to Galena & we were delighted. Very nice . The wine is Excellent and lots of variety and seasonal specials. The staff is very Friendly and knowledgeable. We did some wine tasting and then we purchased our Favs. They were so helpful that we both joined the wine club- so now we can enjoy their wines all year. We will Definitely stop in again when we come to Galena.
