Good pizza. I wasn't sure if there was a waitress who took the order or if I ordered at the counter. We arrived late for lunch hour and the buffet was closing soon. I had a personal size veggie pizza and asked for no onions or mushroom, and instead could I have pineapple. they said sure and the pizza was made correctly. (Yippee!) I had sour kraut on pizza for the first time and I liked it. That and the pineapple gave the pizza a little zing so it wasn't flat or boring.
Pizza place near our hotel, so we decided to try it. Has a small buffet the features a salad bar, a few pizzas, and a handful of other items. All-in-all not particularly inspiring, but have had a lot worse.
Every time we visit Galena it has become a family tradition to stop at Happy Joe's. My kids have a great time and we LOVE their Taco Supreme Pizza. It's not a fancy place by any means, but the staff is always friendly and helpful. I want to send a special shout out to an employee, Adi, from our last visit there. She was so kind, not just to the customers, but her fellow team members. She was taking orders, serving food, cleaning tables, helping kids cash in their tickets...
