If I could give 6 stars I would. I've never seen such a place in my life. Fresh bread, still warm to the touch, on the shelves. Beautiful looking baked goods for very reasonable prices. 2/$6 banana bread (whole loaves, not slices) and many other flavors. This is pure Americana and a joy to see this small business flourish

A friend recommended to stop here and pick up a bread loaf for her while in Galena. It’s a bakery as well as some other novelties. Banana bread and cinnamon rolls are excellent.
Parking: Parking is rough depending on time of day on weekend. Big touristy street. Worth the effort to stop and walk around.

Best baked goods for a good price. The flavor was on point.
The aroma coming out of this shop was fabulous so we were excited to try some of their baked goods. Sadly to say that we were let down when we tried some of our purchases. Our coffee cake was like eating dust it was so dry and fell apart when we cut it up. The taste was only ok. We were disappointed with their products.

Great spot. The best food we had in Galena. Great cocktails too. We had the croque monsier and it was really done. The specials looked great. Its a small place so you can see all the food. We tried 4-5 restaurants in Galena, including several that were top rated and were very disappointed. This was the only place that did not disappoint.

Lovely experience, food, and libations! Wine selection was better than expected, given that I thought Bread and Vine was more focused on bread! Additionally, there were multiple martini selections and numerous small-plate dinner options. The featured tacos were 1. Pork belly 2. Shrimp and pineapple Both were delectable! Full of flavor. I used to live in Florida, and ate my share of shrimp and pineapple tacos. These would rank among the best! Very attentive service, as well.
