The aroma coming out of this shop was fabulous so we were excited to try some of their baked goods. Sadly to say that we were let down when we tried some of our purchases. Our coffee cake was like eating dust it was so dry and fell apart when we cut it up. The taste was only ok. We were disappointed with their products.

Great spot. The best food we had in Galena. Great cocktails too. We had the croque monsier and it was really done. The specials looked great. Its a small place so you can see all the food. We tried 4-5 restaurants in Galena, including several that were top rated and were very disappointed. This was the only place that did not disappoint.

Lovely experience, food, and libations! Wine selection was better than expected, given that I thought Bread and Vine was more focused on bread! Additionally, there were multiple martini selections and numerous small-plate dinner options. The featured tacos were 1. Pork belly 2. Shrimp and pineapple Both were delectable! Full of flavor. I used to live in Florida, and ate my share of shrimp and pineapple tacos. These would rank among the best! Very attentive service, as well.

Wonderful handmade baked goods at Klein's market bakery on main Street in Galena. We love their cinnamon bread, their banana bread and blueberry bread. They also have jams and jellies for sale. They also have cookies and other baked goods.

This was such a fantastic stop. I wish I would have come earlier in my trip because then I could have come back a second time! I got the French hot dog which was amazing. I also tried a pastry recommended by the waiter and it was incredible. Highly recommend coming here

Lively casual atmosphere. Very busy on the weekday we visited for lunch. Server was friendly and attentive. Both of our sandwiches (Salmon & Grilled Ham & Cheese) were very good, as was the Oatmeal Cranberry Cookie. On the down side, the restaurant was very crowded and noisy making conversation difficult.
This is definitely a modern vibe of a small cafe mixed with a trendy bistro that serves coffee cocktails etc. Right on Main Street and actually open until I believe it was 8pm which for galena was great! We ate lunch here two different days you can do take out or dine in we took ours to go. They have a large dessert selection. I got the AVB chicken which was delicious I actually got it twice and chocolate mousse which was very good as well! Definitely a great place for any meal through the day check them out while in town

I think this was the best lunch I’ve ever had in my whole life. I had the steak sandwich and fries with chipotle Mayo and OMG it was so good! You also get a huge sandwich for the price! I WILL be back.

What a lovely spot! Really good macarons! We got carry out dessert, pastries for breakfast the next day, and a sandwich for lunch the next day. The chocolate mousse was divine, the cheese and fruit danish/croissant was delicious. The French hot dog was funny and tasty! The staff was lovely!

My daughter and I came here for breakfast and we’re back two hours later for a sampling of pastries and desserts to take home. Everything was amazing and the service was excellent. Great addition to the Galena downtown! I only wish we could have made it back for wine and dinner.
