Started our dinner with Temura soft shell crab n(no picture). It was okay. Then my husband’s Godzilla roll and my Taki Udon with chicken arrived. Fantastic! He wasn’t that hungry and devoured each piece lol Mine was delicious! Garlicky goodness. I wish I could have eaten it all. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.Parking: Very popular destination and hard to find parking throughout Main St area.

The food was pretty good! The miso soup was really really good, the sweet potato rolls were a little soft but still good, too, and the veggie gyoza & sauce it comes with were both amazing. Atmosphere felt lacking, but it was a nice place.Vegetarian options: Gyoza, rolls, and other veggie options are available.

Our first stop during our day trip to Galena, recommended by a retail worker a few stores down. We were the only ones there and the walls kind of looked like they were in the middle of remodeling. Our waiter was very nice and quick to serve us. Here's what we ordered: Philadelphia roll: Not great. It had this smoky flavor and I am not sure if that was intentional or not, but it left a weird taste in my mouth. Edamame Clear soup x2 California roll: Always a safe bet and they did it well The wait staff was a little awkward with us being the only ones in there - could have maybe turned up the music a bit! I was surprised that our meals were so cheap, so that was a plus. Overall, 3 stars for an OK visit.

For appetizers we ordered the seaweed salad, fried vegetable rolls, and the pork dumpling soup. For dinner we ordered the sweetheart roll, amazing roll, and the gorilla roll. Everything was incredible. The wait staff was very nice and quick to answer any questions we had. We are looking forward to the next time we eat here!

Sushi was better than what I’ve had at places that charge 3x what they do here. This really is a hidden gem. We got a California roll, a salmon roll, and a Godzilla roll with an order of hibachi chicken. Everything was fantastic. Absolutely no complaints. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet, even with a full house. Not a rambunctious place, so you can eat in peace. Service was great, too.

What a nice find for sushi. We live in Dubuque and have been looking for a good place to get quality sushi. Little Tokyo in Galena has very good sushi. We have now visited this restaurant a few times and have been pleasantly surprised each time. The wait staff and sushi chef are friendly and responsive. This time we ordered the Deluxe Sushi platter. A nice selection of sushi...salmon, tuna yellowtail red snapper and shrimp. 12 pieces of sushi plus miso soup and a small salad. Very reasonably priced. If course the Kirin beer made everything better. If you are looking fir good sushi in the Tri State area, we have not found anything better than Little Tolyo.
