Service excellent. Steak excellent.
Worst drink I have ever had $12.00 for a glass if ice in stead of Jameson on the rocks.

I went here 2 nights in a row while in town. Once with old college friends and had the 24 oz. Ribeye. Was awesome. A buddy had pork chops that were huge and very good he said. The server wasn't too worried about the 4 of us until we started grumbling 30 minutes in with only one visit to our table. We were thinking of leaving and he over heard us. Almost overkill after that but that's ok.
Next night came with my wife and friends. I had the 18oz prime rib and she had lamb chops. Both were very good. Server was excellent on this night and they didn't rush us out 20 minutes after closing.
Definitely a "go to" place in Galena.

Steaks were great, shrimp not so much, very tough & over cooked. Relish tray was 2 scallions, 2 carrots sticks & celery sticks. Baked potatoes were good. Expresso martini to die for. Would go back for a steak.

If you are ever in Galena, you have to stop at Log Cabin and try anything. Everything is great, but you have to try their Arnie Palmer, best I ever had!!

12 out of 10. Sweet baby Jesus this place isn't a dinner it's an experience. Top 10 steakhouses I've ever been. 27 countries and counting. Traditional Midwest supper club style. Can't say enough. The service from Dino to the dish kid made me feel like I was Sinatra. Would eat there everyday all day if I could. Landmark status.

The steaks here are absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend getting one. However, the sides included with the steaks leave me scratching my head thinking why a place that makes such delicious steaks would be OK serving them to customers. I'd knock more than one star off for them if their steaks weren't so good.

This place is priced for a touristy area, and while I am willing to pay the up charge for the steaks, the liquor prices were absolutely outrageous. Especially when the bar service was not very good.

Get an old-fashioned at the ginormous but cozy bar, enjoy being tucked away from the way too bright and glaring world, sink in to relaxing and humming along to the piano players adept selections, then be sure to put a nice tip in the jar before you wander over, smiling and maybe feeling that old-fashioned a bit, to order the best filet mignon you've ever had ?.

Watch out for Zach with that pepper grinder! Just part of the fun ?.

We made a reservation for 6 guests on a Friday night on a recommendation from a dear friend. We were treated like VIPs, the food was outstanding! The ribeye Greek style was incredible. The staff were pleasant and service beyond our expectations. When in Galena stop in! The portions are enormous and the steak with eggs made an excellent breakfast the next morning!
Thank you for the excellent meal and incredible experience! We will definitely be back!

Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building, you pay $10 and the restaurant deducts the fee from your bill.

The food was good but not sure it’s worth the money. The focus heavily on the Greek flavors which just wasn’t a flavor i enjoyed for a steak place. Staff was really great! Bit dark in there but tables were spaced nicely. I would say definitely a log cabin decor and not super fancy besides the prices. Food isn’t plated spectacular, kind of just meat with juice gliding on the plate and some green herb. They do not offer vegetable sides or even mashed potatoes like traditional steak house. Some broccoli really would have lightened the flavors and gave freshness to the meal, but the salad they offered was okay too. If you like untraditional and want to try new flavors give it a try but personally not my favorite nor will I be going again
