We stopped here for breakfast on the day we left. Perfectly cooked omlete light and fluffy. Great coffee and perfect hash browns. I definitely recommend.

Stopped in for a bite to eat while touring downtown Galena. Atmosphere was nice. Open seating at tables with chairs that were more of a dining room feel for our large group. Food was really great. Sandwiches were really good. Chips were homemade. Service was very good, even though we didn't realize they were closing early and stayed open just for our group. We felt really bad. They never said a word to us and kept up the great service. We only found out after noticing no other patrons. Great job and we'll stop in next time for sure!

Really, really good coffee!! Good food, too. We ate here for breakfast twice. We had The Bomb, the frittata and the mushroom omelette. All were good, but I preferred The Bomb. Friendly staffs and an open, comfortable restaurant.

Stopped here for an early bite and coffee. Had the breakfast burrito. I was pretty good. Good service, nice atmosphere and seating and good coffee. I really enjoyed it. Seems like a good place to grab a bite or hang out and relax with a coffee.

We've eaten here a few times and the sandwiches are always fresh & tasty. Great place to stop for a quick bite.

We popped in here before heading back home. We hit it just as breakfast service ended, which was a bummer because I could've gone for hash browns. The place wasn't crowded when we arrived and we were seated quickly. We got waters and my husband got a mimosa quickly; the mimosas are good sized, bigger than average. After that service really dropped off. It took a while to get water refills, to order and get our check. If it were busy, it would make sense, but there were maybe 3 tables seated during our stay and 3-4 staff members that we saw. My husband got Reuben & I got the Roman, the caprese style sandwich. The sandwiches came with chips and a pickle. I would've preferred hash browns, but it's clear the chips were homemade and still warm. It was a nice little surprise. My sandwich was ok, not really all that memorable. I would've loved a more interesting veggie option. The rye bread on my husband's Reuben looked amazing and he said his sandwich was good. Bottom line, it was fine, but not somewhere I'd rush back to.

For my wife who is gluten-free, this is always her go to Spot for lunch when we’re in town. The staff is very friendly, the sandwiches are always tasty, and for the first time I tried one of their soups, and thought it was outstanding and a generous pour. Missed seeing Jack the young entrepreneur/owner who was tied up in back. If I had seen him, I would’ve mentioned that a soup and a half a sandwich option on the menu, would probably be A great item to have…. If not, just order both!

We chose this restaurant because of the good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed as our sandwiches and soup were delicious. My husband had the broccoli cheese soup followed by the Beef Roman. I enjoyed the chicken cranberry sandwich. Both sandwiches were very large and tasted very fresh. Service was great and staff friendly. Would definitely recommend Bill’s.

We shopped down one side of the street and back the other. Got hungry and seated just before their closing time at 2pm. More than accommodating. Great service. Excellent food choices. We ordered the sandwich they are famous for. The bread was special and delicious. We also ordered a cup of coupe which was very generous serving size. Would like to visit again for breakfast. Price was affordable and easy on the budget. Sandwich was large and we split it, so picture shows only half of what you're ordering if you order the entree. Clean. Tables spread a part. Outdoor seating with sun umbrellas. Good place for food. Excellent service.
