We had shrimp enchiladas and taco platter. Both very good. The place just smells good when you walk in, so I bet most everything is good here. Nice atmosphere, authentic but not overly loud or garish.

The food was okay but the service sucked. Took my son's food an extra 15-20 minutes from when we got all the adults food to come out. We had to even ask where it was and they ignored us.

We have been to Los Aztecas II a couple of times while visiting Galena. Great service! Delicious, hot meals! Tasty chips, salsa, and margaritas. Reasonable prices. It was our favorite meal during our visit.

Beef enchiladas were delicious. Service was slow, restaurant was full, and they were short staffed. However, our waitress was very apologetic, when I received someone else's order from another table. Server who delivered my food, did not understand English, when I said this is not what I ordered. It took a while to get the right food!

Excellent food, excellent services, reasonable prices! A favorite when in Galena.
Kid-friendliness: Great family and kid friendly environment. Has separate dining area from bar.

Only good thing is their spicy salsa. Chicken was so WET and steak is huge chewy pieces. And their cheese is weird.

I live in probably the texmex capital of the country, Texas.
You can throw a rock and hit 4 Mexican places. This place? This place is special.
While visiting friends we stopped here before heading back to Chicago saying "I wonder how the Mexican is". Their flavors, portions, and service are on point.
Their queso was awesome. Chips are great. Had fajita steak with veggies and was dumb how much flavor was in there.
I am honestly not sure if I'm coming back, but if I do this will be my first food stop.

The 4 of us stopped in for an early dinner. We took a bit to make a decision and our waitress was very patient. She brought our beverages plus chips and salsa quickly. The salsa actually had flavor and heat. I often feel salsa from restaurants is dressed up ketchup.
Our food came promptly and tasted great! Several areas of the ceiling were in major need of repair and made me question what the back of the house must look like. The refried beans were the best I've had at a restaurant in quite some time.
