My son and I had the most pleasant interaction today at the Galena subway. The two men working were super kind and friendly, the store was clean, and the sandwiches were really good! I'll be honest I don't usually choose Subway over other fast casual options, but I'll definitely stop back at the one in Galena on my way through again. It's nice to interact with friendly people who take pride in their work.
I want to thank the girl who made my sandwich! I had done an online order and mentioned a food allergy forgetting to add it was garlic. She went ABOVE and beyond and I can begin to thank her enough! I will definitely be coming again!
There is a nice selection of sandwiches, sandwich bread, cheese and toppings. I'd like that you can have your sandwich toasted if you prefer. The restaurant has a lot of available tables, high chairs and even wheelchair accessible tables.
Vegetarian options: I tried the vegetarian patty sandwich. I liked that it gave me protein in addition to the cheese but came with a sandwich, but the flavor was lacking in my personal opinion. At least a vegetarian has a couple options...
