My family lived in New Mexico for several decades. I have lived in Mexico and traveled there extensively. The corn tortillas at Cielitos Cafe were THE BEST I have had outside either Mexico or New Mexico. My husband and I were chatting until the breakfast tacos appeared. After one bite I went silent. DELICIOSO! It was one of the frigid January mornings and we almost didn’t go. Not only will be go again, I can’t wait to go back for lunch or dinner and try taco plates. The rest of the breakfast plate was also Very Good. Galesburg is lucky to have such good Mexican food.

Generous portions. I tasted the filling of the enchiladas, before eating the whole thing to see how spicy the filling was. The filling was mild, but the sauce added much spice. The menu said rice and beans were supposed to come with but I didn't get any. That was okay though, because I would have had too much to eat. I wasn't sure if chips and salsa was supposed to come with or not, as most Mexican restaurants give you that with to go orders. I was actually glad I didn't get any, as chips and salsa is too hard for me to eat at this time. I'm going to try other food here. I was really impressed with the price for 2 Enchiladas Supremas dinners.
