I ordered the Ahi Tuna. It was by far the worst meal I ever had. I think it was freezer burnt or fake. The rice dish they served was equally bad. Another person at our table got a medium well steak instead of medium rare. It took over an hour to bring our food. The people next to us that came in after us were finishing desert before we got our order.
We got there at opening and the bathroom was still very dirty from the night before with an overflowing trash can.
Not what we expected from a place that holds itself out as upscale.
Very disappointed.

I updated my review to 4. The leadership team reached out and talked with us before we left. They acknowledged their issues and recognized they have room to improve, they took care of us and that makes a difference because it reflects the importance they give to their customers.

Used to give them 5 out of 5 prior to their remodel/new ownership and they are working to be back to those standards.

Happy hour visitor on music night. Great big city piano bar feel with a hip musician and reasonably priced, quality drinks.

I genuinely hate to share a not so stellar review, but for as much money as that meal just cost (and we tipped 18%, before someone thinks we didn’t tip) I reallllllly expected more. I made a reservation for 5pm. They open at 5pm, so I sat in my car for a few minutes to not be that person who shows up the second they open. When I went to enter at 5:05, the doors were still locked. After an awkward greeting by a man in an Iron Spike shirt and a sweet girl clearly in training, I was seated. Most of the staff didn’t seem to know any customers had arrived. My husband tried to enter another 7 minutes later and the door was still locked. He was seated, and a woman brought us a little table lamp. The lamp didn’t work and kept flickering out. We just set it off to the side on the empty table next to us, no biggie. They noticed and brought us another lamp that was completely crooked and the whole thing is just becoming comical at this point. I also want to be very clear, the wait staff were very kind and did a great job. It’s everything else. Another couple is seated and we realize how awkward and silent and uncomfortable it is - there was no ambiance music. I ask about it, and they mention they’re having WiFi problems. Fine. Then, they put a reservation tag on the table directly next to us in, again, an otherwise empty room except for the couple a few tables down. It’s already awkward with no background noise, then we were about to be literally 20 inches from another couple. The bruschetta was good, the Caesar salad was not, the mashed potatoes were just okay, and my filet medallions were sooooo thin and little. My husband’s ribeye was delicious, and we loved the lava cake and ice cream dessert. Overall, it just feels crummy to spend over $200 for a meal and “experience” when we felt like we could have had better food and a better experience multiple places in town for half the price.

Little less casual than I thought, took a long time for food but was very good. Salmon was a little salty but it was just the crust .

Had the pleasure of meeting some frids for dinner. The appetizers and service were the best part of the evening. Would highly recommend returning. The table etiquette from our server Megan was the best we’ve received in Galesburg.

I was glad to hear when they were closed and hoping for new owners…..and obviously disappointed to hear the owners are the same but changed management. Red flag since the owners were responsible for the demise of the first set of “management”.Food is average at best and below average considering the raise in prices.

Went for a date night and could not have been more pleased. Our server was super attentive and willing to explain anything. Was a bit pricey but, for sure worth every penny. We had a reservation and when we walked in, noticed our table had our name on it. We got to sit in a quiet corner with dim lights and a touch lamp on our table and it was just perfect. Not an every day purchase for our family but, will 100% be going back.

Went for the first time on my bday and it was disappointing other than the crab/artichoke dip which was wonderful. No hostess at the door and stood waiting for someone for about 15 mins and another customer had to go find her cuz they had been waiting to be seated as well. The waitress brought the wrong beer, filet (Oscar) was charbroiled and black, cooked med well and was suppose to be med rare and was dry with no flavor. Other meal was chicken over spaghetti noodles in cream sauce with spinach and tomatoes all for $185! Plus I ordered a strawberry daiquiri which typically is a frozen drink and she brought me what looked more like a pink lemonade in a martini glass.

I can not say enough great things about Craft. From the service to the craft cocktails to the elevated gourmet menu. My husband and I drive over an hour to eat here as often as we can. Do yourself a huge favor and check this place out.
