Girlfriend and I decided to try happy Joe's on Henderson street tonight as a sporadic dare night. We personally had a terrible experience. We ordered the BBQ classic boneless wings as an appetizer and they came out cold. I was able to flag our waitress down and politely told her that the wings were cold and under cooked. She took them to the kitchen for correction, and when they came back, still cold. It's like the kitchen didn't even try. Girlfriend ordered a taco supreme pizza with the olives, onions and what not. Got it, and all it had was lettuce and sour cream. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was unappealing. The overall food experience is a solid 1 out of 10. The only thing, and the only thing that made this trip any kind of enjoyable was our waitress Maddie. We felt bad for her, because it appeared she was the only one working, and for being so busy, her service was phenomenal. She deserves a raise to be working in these conditions. With her beyond exceptional service, I'd bring our overall experience up to a 4/10. Will not be returning

My wife and I love this place. We usually have lunch here on our way through the Midwest. We even leave early to be sure we get there. We live the taco pizza and the soft drinks always taste right.

Pizza is great! But a bit pricey...got a med combo plus for $33. They do have really great monthly deals.

Love the atmosphere, was not impressed with the buffet selections, however they will make more if requested. Service was a little bit lacking as she didn't get us our drinks until we were on our 2nd plates.

Had to leave 1 star would have left less if I could. Grew up going to happy Joe's since it moved the food isn't anything like it used to be an is more expensive than it should be. This will be the last time I try this experience

I’m not sure happened with the taco joe pizza but it was awful tasting. What a waste of 30.00. We had to throw the entire pizza away.

She was the only server there, so she was in between the party and the floor, irregardless, she did a fantastic job!
Kid-friendliness: It was my great granddaughters 11th b-day party. I hardly got to see her, as she and her friends were so busy playing the games!!!

Had to check on the pizza. She brings it out. No plates, no silver, no napkins, no drinks. When she brought the drink she had to sniff one to see if it was root beer or Pepsi with her nose. Advertised buffet for 5:00 to 8:00 Monday through Friday they said they didn't have enough customers to put it out. Always had to go find the wasters to tell her we needed something. The pizza was not that good and the service the worst I've ever had. I will never go back even if it's free.
