I was, actually, disappointed. The setup for the brunch was not anything like it looks in the pictures. The food was dry. The ham had no flavor. The roast beef had no flavor. The biscuits and gravy would have been better if the biscuits hadn't been so dry. The salad bar was the best part. Not someplace I would go back to.

I absolutely love coming to the packinghouse! the salad bar is a must have! it is always VERY fresh, and there are a lot of options to choose from. I have tried many things off of the menu. The calamari is great! You wont regret trying anything off of the menu! The jalapeño chicken wraps to the meat loaf all the way to the steaks are great choices depending on what you are craving that day! Did I mention that the salad bar is phenomenal? I've tried many of the drinks here, and I love the long islands and I especially love their red cabernet sauvingons!this place is great whether you are coming here alone, with a group, or for date night! I could really go on and on about why you should eat here but I'd love to see you experience it for yourself!Tonight I had the pleasure of Alexia and Kolissa serving me and they are both great compliments to this establishment! They also were more than accommodating! 5 out 5 EVERYTIME!Vegetarian options: The salad bar is a must have!

Lovely historical downtown atmosphere dining within walking distance of historical Seminary St with its quaint shopping. Excellent choice for a stop off of the train station that's within walking distance too!As Galesburg's longest continually operated steak house, we also found a great selection for the vegetarian appetite. We've tried the lunchtime menu to the incredibly huge breakfast buffet that occurs every Sunday. From their signature complimentary bread and cinnamon rolls to the calamari, fried portobello mushrooms and haystack style onion rings, fine wine and the most pleasant service, I'll recommend the Packing House for the experience alone.

We drove an hour to meet my daughter and waited over an hour for our food. When it finally came my shrimp was frozen and my partners steak ice cold! Our server complained non stop about how busy they were. The food was terrible! Worst meal I’ve experienced in a while! They did comp one steak and brought one desert for us to share. Just a disappointing experience!

My husband had the catfish, best he had ever had. I had prime rib, very good. We got there kind of late but they were very welcoming. It's definitely worth the stop.
